Description
Hej, We are a German Family of 5 who moved to Denmark in September 2022. Katharina is a selfemployed business consultant who works from home and Ricardo is a police officer in Germany but currently on parental leave. The kids are 9 (10/13), 6 (07/16) and almost 1 (05/22). The oldest one is Homeschooling and the middle one is going to school here in DK since November 22. We bought a former farmhouse with a big garden, an old Barn and plenty of space. The house used to have two households which we combined into one. Parts of the house is used for guests (friends and family). We are looking for someone to help at the garden, with small renovation tasks at the house, to play with the or maybe some housework. There is lots to do and we a flexible to meet the interests and abilities of the workaways. Our village is close to the sea - 1.9km and there is a bus running every 30 minutes to Sønderborg close by.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
As a workaday staying at our farm you could be part of our daily life. You could join our kids at the weekly unity meeting where you could meet other danish and German families. Sønderborg is close by to experience typical Danish life. Big part of danish culture is to be outside exploring nature and go for walks. Since we are surrounded by nature, Forest and the sea you are more than welcome to join us.

Help
We would prefer somebody from Denmark or Danish speaking to improve the language skills of our kids. But of course we are open to people from all around the world. We are looking for a person who is open minded for different lifestyles and unschooling. Since we have lots of different tasks to do every skill is welcome.

Our house used to have two households. We toredown a wall so now it is one big house. Some parts is used for our guests. But we do need to walk through the kitchen and Katharina uses the bathroom while working at here office. There are two guests rooms. One would be yours to use. There is a separate, equipped kitchen, a seperate bathroom and a small seating area in a common room. The kitchen and the bathroom would also be used by our friends and family if they come to visit. The searing area is a corner of a shared living room decorated as a small living room for you to use so you would have a comfy space to read or so.
If you are travelling by van you could also stay with your van and just use the commodities.
We would cook together as much as we both feel comfortable with and we can spent time together but there is also enough space to recharge and spent some alone time.A little more information
