We're George & Yvonne from the UK, who are now retired.
We bought the house in 2009 and retired here in 2013 .
We are currently residents under the Dream Home Visa Scheme

Our home is a Traditional Ancestral Walawa, set in a lush half acre garden surrounded by jungle.
Extensively renovated, overlooking paddy fields with views across to Alagalla mountain, which can be climbed.
A place of true peace and relaxation, enjoying wild life and delightful sun sets, whilst sipping your favourite sun downer.
There is also our local Temple (dating back to the 9th century).
Help
Gardening includes grass cutting with a petrol brush cutter.
We also have a swimming pool that needs regular maintenance.
Housework includes washing up, sweeping externally & internally.
Also House Sitting while we are away.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities.
We also have high speed fibre Internet & Satellite Television.
The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, 5 burner gas hob, fridge, freezer & drinks cooler.
The utility room has an automatic washing machine.
We can either eat together as a family or you can make your own arrangements.
Food is available from the local stores.
There is a supermarket and restaurants in nearby Rambukana.
What else ...
We're 20 minutes by Tuk-Tuk from the world famous Pinnawala elephant orphanage.
1 hour from the Ancient Capital City of Kandy, which is best visited by the breath taking railway journey from Kadigamuwa station.
