Beschreibung

Hi, I am Zlatko, an adventurous and creative nerd ^^. I´m working as a freelancer (right now, online teacher for languages, maths and computer science) and I love volunteering at interesting places.

I first visited Southeast Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia) during my semester abroad in Osaka, Japan (October 2019 - March 2020). It felt like home for me with the nice weather, warm people and spicy food.
Then, I lived in a couple of communities in Mexico, Portugal and Spain, getting to know the locals and other travelers, making and sharing unforgettable experiences.

I am a born traveler since I have lived in many different places all my life. I was born in Bulgaria and moved to Germany with my family when I was 14.

My last longer stay was in Mexico, where I met many cool locals and travelers. I participated in different projects like farming, teaching languages, working in a hostel, and selling my own home-made sweets.

An year ago, I started my own project of creating a spiritual food forest in Valencia region, Spain, and since then, have been hosting volunteers and learning about syntropic agroforestry, conventional and bio construction, management, natural cosmetics, and many more.

I heard about workaway from a cool Spanish guy who was working in a hostel in Ireland, and I got really excited about all the possibilities which this site offers.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a computer scientist and therefore naturally good with all kinds of computer stuff.
I am cuatrolingual: Bulgarian is my native language, I speak German at native level, and used to teach English to a university student in Japan. I learnt Spanish in a couple of months during my life in Mexico. I also understand a bit of Japanese, Russian, Portugues and French. I love languages since they provide us with new ways of thinking.

Cooking: Since my semester abroad in Japan, I love world cuisine! I learned making Ramen, Katsu Kare, baking, stir frying and many other cool techniques.

Gardening is my passion: I have practical experience with syntropic agroforestry and permaculture.

I've been learning about conventional and bio construction on my land.

Music: I like playing guitar and Darbouka, while singing medicine songs, and am currently learning Mongolian throat singing and didgeridoo :).

I meditate since I was 20, and it helps me recognize myself and to feel and express love everyday. I'm a 500hrs RYT integral yoga teacher.
