  Artist painter in a quiet little place just over an hour-drive south of Paris, by a forest famous for its climbing rocks, I need help with some refurbishment works in the house and some gardening.

  I can show the region's pretty villages, share walks in the forest, do a little climbing, have some cultural or musical outings (depending on the time of year). The train station is not far away and can take you to Paris for the day. For art lovers we can draw together (and I can give you some advice if you wish). I speak English fluently.

  Je peux vous faire découvrir la région avec ses jolis villages, des promenades en forêt, un peu d'escalade, des sorties culturelles ou musicales (selon les périodes de l'année). Le train n'est pas loin et peut vous emmener à Paris pour la journé. Pour les amateurs d'art on peut dessiner ensemble (et je peux vous donner quelques conseils si vous le souhaitez). Je parle anglais couramment.

  Arbeit

  At the moment I'm insulating the interior of an outbuilding that will be my artist's studio: you have to be able to take precise measurements, cut/screw the insulation panels under the roof and on the walls. The other project in progress is in the garden with the installation of a watering system: pump, trenches, taps... I may also need help in the maintenance of the garden (cutting hedges and trees, preparing a vegetable garden) or simply for the daily life of the house (meals, cleaning, storage, small repairs) which would allow me to concentrate on other work.

  En ce moment j'isole l'intérieur d'une dépendance qui sera mon atelier d'artiste : il faut pouvoir prendre des mesures précises, couper/visser les panneaux d'isolation sous les rampants et sur les murs. L'autre projet en cours est dans le jardin avec l'installation d'un système d'arrosage : pompe, tranchées, robinets... Je peux avoir besoin aussi d'aide dans l'entretien du jardin (taille des haies et des arbres, préparation d'un potager) ou simplement pour le quotidien de la maison (repas, nettoyage, rangement, petites réparations) qui me permettrait de me concentrer sur d'autres travaux.

  We share the house and there is a small single bedroom on the ground floor, or a larger/double bedroom upstairs (not ideal in winter as it is not yet fitted properly). There is a cat... There is no tv or wifi, internet access can be done via my phone's hotspot is you have no data.

  Nous partageons la maison et il y a une petite chambre simple au rez-de-chaussée, ou alors une plus grande/double à l'étage (moins pratique en hiver car pas encore bien aménagée). Il y un chat... Ni tv ni wifi, l'accès internet peut se faire en partage de connexion avec mon téléphone si vous n'avez pas de data.

  If you have a car there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Otherwise I can drive you into town to take the train/bus, or into the forest if you want to go hiking. On occasion we can share an outing or activity together.

  Si vous avez une voiture il y a beaucoup à faire dans les environs (regarder les activités dans le sud 77). Sinon je peux vous conduire en ville pour prendre le train/bus, ou en forêt si vous souhaitez faire une randonnée. A l'occasion nous pouvons partager une sortie ou activité ensemble.
