Beschreibung

Hi! We’re Ro and Maka, two travelers from South America exploring life with our backpacks, open hearts, and a deep desire to learn. We love discovering natural places, immersing ourselves in cultures different from our own, exchanging ideas, and sharing genuine moments.
We have experience in different kinds of volunteer work, especially in permaculture, gardening, hospitality, eco-construction, woodworking, and animal care. Ro is also a certified yoga teacher with experience leading classes in yoga, breath-work, and meditation — she loves holding space for people to reconnect with themselves.
We’re currently on a working holiday in Australia, but we’ve taken a few months to explore Asia and continue growing through new experiences.
We’re passionate about art, LGBT+ rights, permaculture, yoga, meditation, the fascinating world of fungi, cooking, and having slow, meaningful conversations. We love connecting with others, playing, laughing, and embracing a peaceful way of living.
We also deeply value silence and personal space — we believe connection doesn’t always have to involve words.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I been the last year working in gardens and orchards. Also have experience in hospitality, doing housekeeping, waitress and receptionist.
Before that I been travelling in my home country, doing woofing. I did eco-construction, property maintenance, animal care, wood construction, painting, landscaping, use of different tools as electric screwdrivers, grinder and chainsaw (a little bit).
Before starting to travel I study and work 4 years as a kindergarten teacher, and last year I did a yoga teaching training in Bali, and had been facilitating some yoga, pranayama & meditation clases.
