Hello! My name is Benedicte. I'm Danish and 22 years old.
I'm currently living in Sydney on a holiday working visa and very much loving it. Traveling is a big passion of mine and I really value getting to explore new countries and cultures and having conversations with people who are completely different from me.
Last year I traveled in the Middle East and South East Asia where I started my volunteering via workaway and it has been some of the best moments of my life.

I love to cook and try different recipes. I wish to improve my baking skills as well.
I read a lot of books and like to discuss them with my friends afterwards – I also do that with movies, since I'm a huge movie lover. I'm quite interested in history and would never miss a visit to a museum if the opportunity arises – that means art museums as well.
I also like to take pictures and I just bought a SLR camera so hopefully I can practice photography more

I love to play games; board games, card games, dart. My favorite board game right now has to be Backgammon. I always play it with my mother.
In Denmark I lived quite close to the ocean, therefore I'm always excited to go swimming and I would love to be a work away worker close to some water. And I also play basketball in my free time. Besides that I'm a big reader and love to read all kinds of genres; romance, politic books, thrillers and non-fiction – I love getting caught up in a good book.
I like to draw as well but I'm not any good at it, so don't expect a Van Gogh of me;)

The work is chill and fun to do – you get a lot of free time to relax, wander around in the area and hang out with the animals. I even got a chance to take the goats out for a walk and ride one of the horses!
