Beschreibung

Hi, my name is Leonie, I’m 25 years old and from Germany. I’m currently finishing my master’s degree in HR Management in Munich and writing my thesis, which I’ll complete by this summer. Before starting a full-time job in autumn, I would love to use the opportunity to travel and connect with new people through Workaway.

I have experience in childcare, as I spent seven months as an au pair in Spain, living with a wonderful family and taking care of two boys (6 and 8 years old). I’m a native German speaker, fluent in English, and have good knowledge of Spanish as well as basic French. I enjoy being part of a family, contributing to daily life, and helping with children. It makes me happy to meet new people and cultures, expand my perspectives, be of support, and of course, to be a fun playmate for the kids.

I am able stay for 3 to 5 weeks (July/August) and am excited about the opportunity to connect with you!

I’m happy to speak German (my native language) with the family or the children if they want to improve their German or learn it from scratch. This was already the case during my au pair stay in Spain, where I spoke only in German with the children and prepared special exercises and games every day to help them learn the language. Personally, I’m excited to continue improving my existing language skills (English, Spanish, French) or to learn the basics of a new language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a lot of experience in working with children and teenagers. I spent seven months as an au pair in Spain, where I looked after two boys (6 and 8 years old). During this time, I gained valuable experience in organising daily activities and working with children. I was also a youth leader for a church group of children aged 9 to 15, organising weekly meetings, weekend trips and summer camps. I also have experience as a coach for boys (3-5 years old) in a local gymnastics club, where I prepared a great sports lesson every week for 10 years.
I am responsible, well organised and love to get involved in a variety of activities. I play the piano and enjoy doing sports, especially volleyball.
