Hey! My name is Karolina. I’m a 32-years-old, openhearted girl from Poland.

I am a beginning gardener working on the land with passion and curiosity. I'm script consultant and writer. I’m making docmentary movie with kids. I’m working part time in art magazine doing some marketing to earn money.

I’ve been traveling since years now. I’m joining the places working with permaculture, synropic forestry, regenrative agriculture and agroecology. Those are areas that interests me a lot. I was discovering syntropic forestry in Portugal, I joined most beautiful natural reserve in Sicily, I traveled through Andalucia in Spain for almost a year, I was working in permaculture project in Tenerife and learning mud construction in Marocco. I've met so many beautiful people and discovered most beautiful places. I've learned a lot, I build my muscels, I lived outside, in nature. I love this off-grid life. I grew.

I'm still looking for my way of living this life and meeting other people and sharing time is the most beautiful way to figure things out. This is why I choose workaway. One day, I wish to have my own land. Till then I decided to live the life I want by joining other people, learning and just enjoying it how it is. And I found it beautiful, and I’m grateful.

I’m not afraid of hard work. I love to work with my hands, outside, with soil, plants and animals. I am responsible. I want to learn. I do care.

I love to listen and share stories. I read a lot, I like watching movies, I write. I enjoy ceramic a lot! I do ugly objects, because I don’t care about perfection in that field – just follows my hands. I’m crafty, creative. I’m trying to learn crochet. I like to cook and eat good food. I’m good with people, but also alone. I like swimming, running, hiking and riding a bike. I’m learning spanish and want to start learn arabic (fell in love with Marocco).

There are many more things I want to learn, experience and try. I'm looking forward what the future will bring/

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During my travel I’ve learned a lot about self-sustainable living. I’m interested in permaculture, syntropic forestry, regenrative agriculture and agroecology. I have some knowledge and practice in these fields, but it’s not organised and I really would like to learn more and educate myself. I’m hardworking person. I have strengh to carry rocks and buckets. I know how farm life looks like and I enjoy it. I enjoy taking care of plants and animals. I’ve also learn about organic construction (mud bricks, mud&straw building, clay, eartships, wood). With a short instruction I can do anything. I’m crafty-artsy person, so we can make it beautiful. I cook pretty well also.

I love hiking, so any tips to explore area are welcome – I can also share my discoveries.
I love water. Sunsets are my favourite. I read like crazy. I like to talk about books and thoughts. I’m joyful person, always curious what is in minds and hearts of others.
