  Our project is an environmental project that began eight years ago. It all started with one hectare of meadowland on the edge of a protected reserve, where my wife and I began a reforestation project and built a guest house out of guadua. Today, we have restored the flora and fauna typical of the region, and our crops, our dogs and ourselves live in harmony with this environment. But maintaining and protecting this tropical paradise, harvesting the food necessary for our semi-autonomy, is very demanding. That is why we invite anyone who is interested in sharing this project with us to join us, bringing patience, experience and ideas, so that this project can continue. Here, we live in a protected area and we try to work the land while respecting nature, using the healthiest methods possible. Welcoming volunteers is not a way to reduce our costs, but a desire to share a place and a life project. We are looking for people who want to get involved, understand why we live here and contribute, in their own way, to this project.
  
  Notre projet est un projet environnemental qui a vu le jour il y a 8 ans. Tout est parti d'un hectare de pré, en bordure d'une réserve protégée, sur lequel nous avons commencé avec mon épouse, un projet de reforestation et construit une maison d'hôtes en guadua. Aujourd'hui nous avons récupéré la flore et la faune typique de la région, et nos cultures, nos chiens et nous mêmes, vivons en harmonie avec cet environnement. Mais entretenir et protéger ce paradis tropical, en prélever la nourriture nécessaire à notre semi autonomie alimentaire, est très exigent. C'est pourquoi nous invitons qui est près à partager ce projet avec nous à nous rejoindre, nous apporter patience, expérience, idées, afin que ce projet perdure. Ici, nous vivons dans une zone de protection et nous essayons de travailler la terre en respectant la nature, avec des méthodes les plus saines possibles. Accueillir des volontaires n’est pas un moyen de réduire nos coûts, mais une envie de partage autour d’un lieu et d’un projet de vie. Nous cherchons des personnes qui ont envie de s’impliquer, de comprendre pourquoi nous vivons ici et d’apporter, à leur manière, leur petite pierre à ce projet.

  Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten

  We'll share everything we've learned in the eight years since the project began. Every weekend, we'll take you along to share one of the cultural activities offered by the village of Filandia or its neighbor, Salento.
  
  Tous ce que nous avons appris depuis 8 ans que le projet existe, nous te le partagerons. Chaque fin de semaine nous t'emmenerons partager avec nous l'une des activités culturelles que propose le village de Filandia ou son voisin Salento.

  Arbeit

  Gardening, working in the fields, DIY tasks, maintenance, harvesting and packaging fruits and vegetables—there's no shortage of work on a finca, and it changes with the seasons. We just need extra hands and minds to help us with our daily tasks and contribute ideas to move the project forward.
  
  Jardinage, travail dans les cultures, bricolage, entretien, récolte et conditionnement des fruits et légumes récoltés, le travail ne manque pas dans une finca, et évolue en fonction de la saison. Nous avons juste besoin d'avoir des mains et des cerveaux en plus pour nous aider dans notre quotidien et apporter des idées afin de faire progresser le projet.

  Unterkunft

  The house is very large; you'll have a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a shared kitchen. Meals aren't included, so remember to arrive with your groceries already bought. Don't worry though: we regularly go up to the village to restock if needed.
  
  La maison est très grande, tu disposeras d'une chambre avec salle de bain et d'une cuisine partagée. Les repas ne sont pas inclus, donc pense à arriver avec tes courses déjà faites. Après, pas d’inquiétude : on monte régulièrement au village, afin de compléter, si besoin, l'approvisionement.

  We are a 5-minute jeep ride from the village of Filandia, less than an hour from Salento with its cocora valley, and just seconds from the starting point of exceptional walking or cycling routes within the coffee cultural landscape.
  
  Nous sommes à 5 minutes en jeep du village de Filandia, moins d'une heure de celui de Salento avec sa vallée de cocora, et quelques secondes de départ de ballades pédestres ou à vélo exceptionnelles au sein du paysage culturel cafetero.
