Hi there! My name is Anna, you can call me Ania. I'm from Poland, based in Kraków currently. I'm a passionate psychologist with a degree in the field. I love exploring the human mind and figuring out what drives people. My other passion is backpacking, I have visited 20 countries so far. 🌍 🧠✈️

In the past I've been fortunate enough to workawaying three times:
Twice, I had the fun of helping out Fuordivela sailing school https://www.workaway.info/en/host/554593962563. Additionally, I had a truly authentic Viking experience with Johanne and Dennis at Eagleroad https://www.workaway.info/en/host/495196919557.

It's been an amazing experience to thoroughly get to know the people, culture, and food. After a few years of a break, I'm ready for another adventure as a workawayer.

A few facts useful about me:
🥕 I'm vegetarian (no meat, no fish, no seafood) and I'm trying to avoid eating dairy. I'm not fussy and will be happy just to have something to eat or I can cook for myself.

🛠 I'm a hardworking, open-minded, respectful person, who adapts quickly to new circumstances. I'm keen on books, dogs, Frida Kahlo art, a witty sense of humour, coffee, doughnuts, and pierogi.

Languages I speak:
🇵🇱 Polish + Polish Sign Language (A2/B1)🤲
🇬🇧 English
🇷🇺 learning Russian (I just like the language, I'm totally against the war)
🏳 nonsense quite a lot

The coolest things I've done:
- hitchhiking in Karakol (Kyrgyzstan)
- steering a catamaran in Lago Di Como (Italy)
- seeing northern lights near Reykjavik (Iceland)
- having my best friends, who support my not-always-reasonable travelling plans 😀
