Beschreibung
Hi there! My name is Adria, and I am an avid traveler, environmentalist, and lover of life. I currently live in Auckland, and plan to work and travel around New Zealand in 2025/26. I enjoy hiking, reading a good book (currently on The Four Agreements), meeting new people, painting everything from plates to teapots, and spending time with my loved ones. Likewise, I am passionate about our Earth and aim to leave it better than I found it, in true Leave No Trace fashion. I am anti-plastic, anti-overconsumption, anti-pollution, and believe a better world is possible through collective care and action.
I studied at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2015 to 2019 and got my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography. I chose this field because the Earth, its complex workings, and how people interact with it fascinate me. I also love a good map and visual analysis of spatial phenomena!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I previously worked on an all-natural farm in Michigan for two years, growing organic vegetables and supervising the washing and packaging of 500-700 pounds of vegetables per day. I also weeded, harvested, pruned plants, germinated seeds, watered, and winterized the farm. This year, I volunteered on a farm in Hawaii for three months, learning how to grow tomatoes and cucumbers, as well as greenhouse maintenance, basic farm repair, and tractor operation. I thrive in physical roles and enjoy the challenges of rural life. No matter where I work, I bring energy, curiosity, and respect for the land. I also love learning and am eager to expand my agricultural repertoire.
