Ivan & Rusudan – Adventurous Duo with a Passion for Hands-On Work, Culture & Nature Exploration!

We are Ivan and Rusudan, a dynamic couple with diverse backgrounds and a shared love for creativity, spirituality, and cultural exploration. Here’s a little more about who we are:

Ivan
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, and having spent many years in Germany, I’m drawn to solving practical challenges and connecting with nature. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, I blend technical expertise with a deep appreciation for hands-on craftsmanship and mindfulness.
My childhood experiences in the countryside taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and respect for nature—all qualities that I bring to community projects and hands-on tasks like carpentry and woodworking. I have also exceled cooking skills and enjoy to cook for friends and family. Healthy lifestyle is for me very important.

Rusudan
Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, I bring a passion for sustainability, community building, and the arts. Currently pursuing my Master’s in Sustainable Economics in Germany, I thrive on cultural exchanges and creative expression. I love exploring spiritual practices and traditions, which allow me to feel deeply connected to nature and the richer aspects of life. While I do enjoy dance as one expression of culture, my heart is equally set on exploring a variety of arts and cultural traditions that foster mindful connections with the world around me. Like Ivan, my early days helping in the gardens and on the farms instilled a lifelong love for nature and a commitment to sustainable living.

Our Journey Ahead
We’re excited to begin our adventure in Sout-East Asian countries and end in Japan, with plans to explore both urban and rural settings starting in Spring 2025. We love being outdoors—whether it’s exploring mountains, wandering through vibrant cities, meandering through quaint villages, or relaxing along the coast. Every setting offers a new adventure and an opportunity to build genuine, mindful connections. Our travels are more than just a journey; they’re a chance to immerse ourselves in local traditions, honor our roots, and contribute our skills and enthusiasm to community projects.

By blending our diverse backgrounds, early experiences in nature, and passions for cultural and spiritual exploration, we’re ready to bring positive energy, practical expertise, and an open heart to every project. We believe that every experience is a chance to connect, learn, and enrich our lives—and we can’t wait to start this journey with you.

Adaptability: Comfortable tackling practical challenges—from repairs to construction tasks.

Rusudan’s Skills:
Sustainability & Community: Master’s studies in Sustainable Economics, with experience in community engagement and project management.
Multilingual Communication: Fluent in English, German, Georgian, and Russian
Interpersonal & Nature love: Experience working with gardening and cooking, with a keen interest in projects that support community and environmental well-being.
Together:
We’re physically active, quick learners, and great team players. Our combined skills suit projects ranging from technical repairs and carpentry to gardening, animal care, and community support.
