Beschreibung

Hello, we are Anni and Paula, both 22 years old and from Germany. We have just finished our bachelor degrees and now we want to enjoy the freedom of traveling, exploring nature and meeting new people around the world.
We want to discover places together, but also do some things on our own and tell each other about it :). We are new to Workaway, but we like the idea of helping others while traveling, learning new things and getting to know the culture and people. We are both very sociable people who like to learn new skills and work well in a team. We are communicative but also listen to others. We also feel like doing something practical after reading and writing so much for our studies. Therefore, we are looking forward to the upcoming tasks and experiences.
Otherwise, we want to explore nature, go hiking, enjoy the views and cool off in the probably very cold water.

We are really looking forward to it and would like to work with you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Since we both want to become teachers, we have already gained a lot of experience in childcare. We were volunteer supervisors at youth camps and taught young people how to ski in the winter. Apart from that, we have also had individual babysitting jobs.

Paula:
I like to cook and often cook for others so that we can eat together. That's why I once cooked for groups of 5-12 people, which was a lot of fun. Furthermore, I have now lived four years in apartment communities and therefore know how to manage a household and take care of each other.
I also have basic handicraft skills, which is why I like to do things myself sometimes. For example, I built myself a bed and a window sill, sawed the wood, sanded and so on :). So I have always tried to solve problems in the apartment myself before I immediately call a handyman.
Otherwise, I worked at a weekly market, which makes me accustomed to working outside in any weather. It also made me realize that I can work well in a team and that stress at work is not a problem for me.

Anni:
I enjoy being part of a project. I grew up as a member of a social association and learned from an early age to help and lend a hand. It doesn't matter if it's organisation, coordination, implementation, design, office tasks or working with different age groups and personalities. Learning new things makes me joyful.
On a personal basis I have been living in a flat-sharing community of 10 people for almost 4 years. So I know how to take care of myself and others. Usually I take upcoming things easy, because there is always a solutions, even though sometimes it need creativity. Therefore I don't mind to tackle and getting dirty hands. I like working in a focused way as well as physical work, also I can deal with pressure or stressful situations.
Furthermore, I have a heart for animals of all kinds (except mosquitoes).
