Hi !
I'm Moira-a 38 year old woman originally from northern Vancouver Island. I have lived all over Canada and abroad. I worked on a tall ship in the Caribbean for five months. During university, I was able to participate in a 6 week study tour of east Africa. I taught ESL for six years in the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia!) and South Korea, which allowed me to travel to over 50 countries. I love to travel but at a much slower pace now. Quality over quantity! And prefer to feel like a local rather than a tourist.

I have become very passionate about equine-assisted therapy, and hope to integrate it in my future career. I am currently studying my Master's in Psychotherapy.

I have a plethora of employment experiences- teaching English to all ages, campsite attendant, farmhand, deckhand, receptionist, housekeeper, server, nanny and community gardener, to name a few.
The skills I can offer are basic gardening/ landscaping, animal care (domestic/farm), child care, general maintenance, and errand runner. I take my time with all tasks and pay attention to detail rather than rush.

I am very independent and prefer small groups of people or one on one interactions, allowing me to get to know individuals better and have genuine conversations. I do best with a balance of people/ alone time. I am usually found outdoors appreciating nature, or enjoying a cat's company at home while watching a new crime series.

Was noch ...

I enjoy running, nature walks, swimming and exploring less known areas. I have completed many races including a beer marathon in Belgium! I am an avid movie fan. I prefer animals to humans especially cats and horses, and have ridden on and off for 20 years. My favourite place to be is at the beach.
