We are Méganne and Simon, a French couple in our 30s, ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure in Latin America starting February 2025.

Let us tell you a bit more about ourselves. Méganne, with her background as a veterinary assistant and as a farmer's daughter, is well-versed in farm life. Her years in Australia, driving tractors and working on dairy farms, have shaped her experience. Additionally, she has 20 years of experience as a horse rider. Her main motivation is to embrace Hispanic culture and become fluent in Spanish while sharing her own cultural background. She has been traveling and changing jobs regularly, mainly in customer service for large companies. One of her main skills is definitely being well organised. She speaks French, English, and some Spanish, and has done Workaway before.

Simon, a civil engineer who has worked on numerous projects, is passionate about hiking, always ready for an outdoor adventure. Also skilled in IT. He is always eager to learn and discover new things, wishing to explore new horizons and share warm life experiences.

Our quest is not just for accommodation but for authentic immersion within your family. We are respectful and polite workers, non-smokers, and lovers of good food. We would be delighted to contribute to your daily life by offering our culinary skills as well.

We are looking for a warm home where friendliness prevails, with a private room and meals provided and shared ideally. We enjoy sports activities, playing board games, and although we are not addicted to social media or TV, a reasonable internet connection would be an asset. We are driven by the concept of woofing.

We also wish to be well-located to explore the surroundings while contributing to family life with about 4 to 5 hours of work per day on average, and 1 to 2 days off per week.

In summary, we are fully aware of our expectations and limits, and we prefer to clarify them now to ensure our shared experience is memorable.

Somos Méganne y Simon, una pareja francesa de 30 años, listos para emprender una aventura inolvidable en América Latina a partir de febrero de 2025.

Permítannos contarles un poco más sobre nosotros. Méganne, con su experiencia como asistente veterinaria e hija de un agricultor, está familiarizada con la vida en la granja. Sus años en Australia, conduciendo tractores y trabajando en granjas lecheras, han moldeado su experiencia. Además, tiene 20 años de experiencia como jinete. Su principal motivación es abrazar la cultura hispana y volverse fluida en español, mientras comparte su propio bagaje cultural. Ha estado viajando y cambiando de trabajo regularmente, principalmente en servicio al cliente para grandes empresas. Habla francés, inglés y un poco de español, y ya ha hecho Workaway.

Simon, un ingeniero civil que ha trabajado en numerosos proyectos, es apasionado por el senderismo y hábil en informática. Siempre está dispuesto a aprender y descubrir cosas nuevas, deseando explorar nuevos horizontes y compartir cálidas experiencias de vida. Es una mezcla de tecnología y senderismo, siempre listo para una aventura al aire libre o una exploración virtual.

Nuestra búsqueda no es solo por alojamiento, sino por una inmersión auténtica dentro de su familia. Somos trabajadores respetuosos y educados, no fumadores y amantes de la buena comida. Nos encantaría contribuir a su vida diaria ofreciendo también nuestras habilidades culinarias. Méganne es ordenada.

Buscamos un hogar cálido donde prevalezca la amabilidad, con una habitación privada y comidas provistas y compartidas. Disfrutamos de actividades deportivas, jugar juegos de mesa, y aunque no somos adictos a las redes sociales o la televisión, una conexión a internet razonable sería una ventaja. Nos motiva el concepto de woofing; realmente queremos ser parte de la familia, no solo un lugar para quedarnos y trabajar. Somos trabajadores, respetuosos y educados. También preferimos no estar "en medio de la nada" para poder visitar lugares, atracciones turísticas y ciudades.

También deseamos estar bien ubicados para explorar los alrededores mientras contribuimos a la vida familiar con aproximadamente 4 a 5 horas de trabajo por día en promedio, y 1 a 2 días de descanso por semana.

En resumen, somos plenamente conscientes de nuestras expectativas y límites, y preferimos aclararlos ahora para asegurar que nuestra experiencia compartida sea memorable.
