Beschreibung
We are a new, boutique, luxury hotel just outside the small surf/dive town of Santa Catalina Panama. We have 9 units total, 3 beachfronts, 2 garden casitas, 2 treehouse and an Inn with 4 private rooms. We also have a beachfront pool, restaurant and yoga deck on 2.5 acres of jungle and beach. We are looking for creative, energetic and proactive team members to help us with different day to day jobs and activities in the hotel.
Bii-lingual in Spanish/English in a great bonus

You will learn about the biodiversity and culture of Panama while learning and honing many different skills around building, operating and marketing a hotel on a large jungle/beach property. Our goal is for our workawayers to work closely with our local staff and friends to exchange learning experiences and skill sets to benefit individuals on both sides.

Arbeit
We are looking for people to help us in many areas around the hotel. These activities include but are not limited to help with marketing and social media, event/retreat planning/coordinating, yoga teacher/massage therapists, photography and content collection and creation. You will be working closely with our local friends, staff and service providers giving you ample opportunity to learn about the local culture and town.
Current needs:
Yoga & Massage Therapist as of now until mid of August
Handyperson / Gardening / Creative Work as of now
Content Creation / Social Media Skills is is a plus for all positions. -

What is Included?
Room and Breakfast - Private (couples) or Shared (single travellers) accommodation with a ceiling fan and AC
Bathrooms - Private bathroom
Sheets & Bathroom Towels provided
Private and shared kitchen and communal space for volunteers & employees.

Breakfast and some food (basics - vegetables & fruits, oil, salt pepper, rice, beans, butter, ketchup etc.), discounts in our restaurant, allowance to buy other ingredients in the local supermarket

What is Expected?
5 hours of help per day for 5 days per week (see help required above for more information).
Proper attire
Personable, polite, respectful attitude
Keeping yourself, your room, and shared spaces clean (to be done on personal time, not during help hours)
Volunteer space is your living quarters, owners house is off limits.

On your time off you can explore our full 6 acre grounds and surrounding beaches and jungle or head into the town of Santa Catalina or the surrounding beaches and waterfalls.
A driver's license that is valid in Panama is a plus as are Spanish language skills. These are not a necessity.
We are looking for a minimum 3 month commitment due to the training required. -
