Hello!
This is Martin, I’m currently traveling solo as Shelby is home in Richmond Virginia working and looking after animals in the US.
I’m an artist. I paint, illustrate and tattoo. I’m especially excited about painting the farms and projects I get to work on during this trip. If you're curious you can check out commercial work here www.instagram.com/martin.mccoy.art

I have experience working on farms, running a nonprofit printshop and dark room, some carpentry and welding skills, experience milking and working with goats, mucking out pens, and working with school kids. I’ve gotten the chance to work with wattle and daub on a natural building project and helped clean and prep rental cabins between guests. I love helping and learning. I have a positive attitude and don’t mind getting completely dirty and exhausted. In fact I think it’s one of my happy places.

I’m 36. I very rarely drink and I don’t smoke at all. I started rock climbing last year and outside of art it's my new favorite thing.

I especially value learning from people who have built and maintained community projects over multiple years and iterations. Ive seen how difficult that can be. Intentional communities are what I want to be involved with for the rest of my life and I really value any insight and wisdom people care to offer on the subject.

Before Shelby and I created this couple’s account I had a single traveler account. I don’t know how to access it anymore but I’m happy to talk about any of those volunteer positions that arent visible here or get on a zoom call and chat about anything.
