Beschreibung

Hey 🌞 We are Marie, Karla and Mora (my furry friends) and we live together in my Van and travel around Europe, most of the time around Spain. I do Workaway since April 2020 and I like to gain a lot more experience!

ABOUT US:

I finished my bachelor's degree this year in social work and decided to travel after that 👩‍🎓I am a trained hotel manager and worked there as a guest relation manager for 5 years before my studies.
In my apprenticeship I also learned housekeeping, bartending, cooking and other tourism skills 👩‍🍳🛏🍸. I´m always happy to help with my skills, if it helps people or animals in need.

I would like to work in an animal shelter or in a sustainable project in 2023 🐕. I know a lot of, how to take care of a dog, Its because I had my own dog for the past 12 years and also adopted a new dog at a animal shelter in Malaga where I do work away at the moment (4 months).
My other knowledge, I get as a workawayer at a animal sanctuary in Thailand 🐶🇹🇭 and some social projects around Asia in 2017. Because of this experience, I quitted my job as a manager in Hotel and decided that travellling needs to be a huge part in my life.
I enjoy working on land and also working with rescue animals, this always brings me joy and happiness.

I am vegan and try to eat very healthy, I really like to cook vegan and I love to learn more about Ayurveda, practicing yoga and meditate together. Its nice to meet people who life a very mindful life.

I am an open and communicative person and I am able to work hard, and I know what hard work means 😉. I like to connect with open-minded people and exchange life experiences and different views.
It would be nice to have some time for myself and my dogs. Like taking a long walk with them in nature, off-grid, at the beach...

Karla (2y, female) is a very well behaved independent companion. She's adopted from a animal shelter in Tenerife, where I worked last year and she's used to live together with different breeds of dogs.
Currently, she lives together with 13 really big dogs, (Karla is very small) and she's kind to everyone and very playfull. In all my workaways she's known for socializing other dogs, even the dangerous dogs are kind, when Karla enter the dog kennels.

Mora (2y, female) is a "perro de aqua", she's the opposite from Karla. She likes to sleep a lot, is lazy and shes more into human than other dogs. She's nice to them, but she prefers to be at the Van 24/7 and sleep and cuddle all day long. Normally, perro de aqua dogs are very active, but not Mora. She's happy with doing nothing all day long.

All my previous host had dogs and it was never a problem.
