Beschreibung

Hellooo! My name is Lotta and I’m a 26-year-old and just graduated with a diploma in Social Pedagogy!! Austria is lovely but I’m so thrilled to have the freedom again to explore new opportunities and meet exciting people along the way.

I absolutely love doing physical work and being outdoors, especially when I’m surrounded by a group of lovely, like-minded individuals. (I have done all kinds of farmwork or other physical work before I startet studying) I’m currently looking to work with horses, not only because I miss having them around but also because I want to learn much more about them. I’m particularly interested in learning about common illnesses and their treatments, horsemanship, and, most importantly, improving my riding skills.
I have a background in competitive vaulting, having participated in the sport for 15 years. Unfortunately, normal riding and horsemanship weren’t a significant part of my vaulting experience. Now, I’m very eager to develop those skills because maybe, in the future, probably far far future, I hope to work with disabled children and horses. If you can help me on this journey, I would be immensely grateful!
Obviously I’m ready to work hard and put a lot of effort in return. I’m more than happy to cover my own food expenses if needed.

I adore the outdoors and enjoy artsy and crafty activities. In my free time, I love playing the guitar and dancing. I consider myself patient and empathetic, always taking other people’s feelings into account. I’m generally calm, but I can get bubbly and excited when I’m around good company and engaging in active pursuits.

... More details about me: I'm born in germany, I love sports, dancing, singing and playing guitar (I'm not good at it though😂) I also love crafty things like crocheting, drawing, jewelry making and all that stuff!
another thing that is important to me is honest communication and feedback!
especially on a workaway it is sometimes hard to tell what the host expects... just tell me if I should look for tasks myself rather independently or you prefer me to only do stuff you explained me to do!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I woked on several Fruitpicking Farms and on a Flowernursery. I also worked as a nanny and did some houskeeping during my work and travel year in Australia. Right now I'm working on a ranch near kamloops... so I don´t mind to get my hands dirty and work hard! I´m a very outdoorsy, outgoing person. I love to travel, camping, go hiking, walk with my brothers dog, cycling, skiing and skating. I did vaulting (gymnastic on a horse) for 15 years it really was my passion and I´m missing it. And I like to craft or draw when I´m more in a calm mood. Since Christmas I am teaching myself guitar and started to really like singing along it too but sadly I´m not the most talented singer :))
