My name is Lena, I am a 23 year old Dutch student who is currently living in Bologna for half a year. During my time here I would love to gain some workaway-experience. Last year I have finished my bachelors' in Sustainability Science. I am my happiest in nature, preferrable with animals:). My personality is calm, responsible and caring. I like meeting new people and I am also working on my Italian skills after already having studied Italian for a year. Hopefully this platform will bring me lovely new experiences, I am looking forward to the possibilities!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am very keen to learn new skills and there is a lot to learn. Luckily, there are some skills that I have already learned, below I have made a list of skills that I have made myself familiar with:
- I know a thing or two about gardening but there is still a lot to learn;
- I am good with children (lots of babysitting experience) and pets;
- I find it easy to make myself comfortable in new environments;
- I love cooking and have already learned a lot in this area;
- I can work long hours and am used to working hard, since I have worked in a large cafe for many years.
- I can sow and stitch;
- My hobby when I was 8-16 years was horse riding, I loved being around horses and still know how to handle them with care;

Was noch ...

During my possible workaway experiences I hope to be outside a lot, to learn about other cultures and to laugh a lot with others. I envision it as a sunny afternoon, after having done some work, sitting in a garden, playing games, having good conversations accompanied by nice people and good food. A girl can dream ;).
