Beschreibung

Currently, I am the manager of Beachside Backpackers Hostel in Port Macquarie, Australia. I am flying into Central or South America on the 23rd of January and am looking for a volunteer role by the ocean. I have experience in managing, cleaning, doing reception and serving people in hospitality. I am also a very experienced yogi and a fully qualified Surf Instructor (Level 1 ISA).

Alongside surfing I love skating, writing, reading, music, doing daily yoga and generally exploring new places and improving myself. I am an extremely outgoing individual with a huge passion for life and the outdoors. I am a huge environmentalist who loves animals, I feel connected to Planet Earth!

As an extremely social character, I thrive in social situations where I can make new friends and learn from others. I like my own time to surf and do other activities but am no stranger to having an awesome night with old or new friends! I am excited to become part of a great team to help the business and make amazing memories in and beside the waves!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a fully qualified Surf Instructor and hold a Level 1 ISA so I am qualified to instruct surfing anywhere in the world. I have experience of teaching many different customers in the UK. I am also a fully qualified Beach Lifeguard in the UK and hold a NVBLQ qualification in the UK. This just shows that I have a good knowledge of surfing, the ocean and am physically able!

I am currently managing Beachside Backpackers Hostel in Port Macquarie, Australia. Therefore, I am extremely good at managing a team, reception work, talking to customers and carrying out jobs which ensure the success of the hostel (such as cleaning).

I also have lots of work experience in office based roles where I have been an Employment Advisor and Caseworker for public service providers. I was able to achieve this after receiving a First Class Honours Degree as a Bachelor of Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University. Therefore, I am very good digitally and have excellent writing skills!

Alongside my education and work I have always worked in restaurants, bars and in retail shops so I have lots of experience in dealing with customers face to face and being able to talk to anybody from any culture!

I will be mainly living along the coast and would absolutely love to help out any hostels/businesses that encourage surfing. I am an extremely hard worker and will always ensure I do the best possible job that I can.
