Beschreibung
Hi! My name is Isobel (or you can call me Izzie!) and I am 21 years old. I am a university student studying French and German. I was born and raised in rural Ireland. I have a lot of interests and I love to learn things, especially new ways of life! On my workaway experience I would love to experience a new culture and practise my German (which is quite poor orally.)
I'm in Baden-Württemberg until mid-July, I'm always down to meet up and meet new people- just shoot me a message :))
Here are some things that I enjoy:
- Being in nature
- Judo (I've been training for years)
- Language exchange -> learning new languages makes me very happy and I'm super motivated to improve!

Ever since I was a child I have always been interested in learning languages. Since I was a child I began to learn Irish, and although it is not spoken widely in the country I took to it very well. I started learning French at age 12 in secondary school up until present. My confidence in French is very low and I would like to improve that during my workaway experience. I started learning German in university, last year. I really enjoy learning languages and would love any chances at all to improve my language skills. I am fluent in English and am very happy to help my host learn English/improve their English!

I am a hard worker and I give my all to tasks at hand. I follow instructions well too! I like to try new things and don't mind getting my hands dirty! I am fluent in English so I can help out with that! I am a judo player so I understand respect and discipline. I can help around the house as I do that in my own home and would expect to do it where I board. I have little experience in gardening other than weeding, but am more than happy to learn new skills and help out in any way that I can! I am interested in the arts, so I enjoy reading, writing, drawing or photography! I love cooking and trying out new recipes, and I love to cook for my family when I am back from university! I enjoy talking over meals, in those moments I feel very connected and bonded to those in my company. I have experience working as a childminder for years. I also worked as a waitress for roughly 4 years so I have experience in hospitality. I used to help out in my local Judo club to help teach the children. Overall I love to help people!

Was noch ...
Back home I like watching movies and Tv shows with my older brother, we watch things once or twice a week together. With my little brother I call him often. Family is a very important thing for me and I think this is worth mentioning. I like to hang out with friends very often, socialising, just chatting over a cup of tea or coffee or going for a walk! I am a very social person but I am also a big fan of my own space from time to time.
