Beschreibung

Hi :), I am Hanna from Germany and I am 23 years old.
I recently ended my studies at university to become a primary school teacher with a state exam and now have some free time before the new school year starts in September 2025 and I can start working as a teacher. That is why I want to take the opportunity to see more parts of the world, have a good time, learn new skills and to improve my English as I am also an English teacher (good skills are kind of required :)).
About me: I am an open and curious person, who loves community and adventures (although I am afraid of heights…). I live close to the alps and that is why I love hiking and skiing and I am also thinking about becoming a ski instructor next year, we’ll see. I also love to swim and you’ll rarely catch me without a camera, because I love photography (analog and digital) and to create photo albums, because I believe that some memories are worth looking at million times.
There are two things I really love: kids (that might be helpful as a primary school teacher) and horses! I never had an own horse or was a professional but I am riding since I was 5/6. I still have lots to learn but I really enjoy it and spending time with these wonderful creatures.
It is probably very cheesy and not really realistic, but I have watched “Heartland” (a series about ranch life) ever since I was a little kind and once I discovered wordaway, I saw a way that my dream might become true. 😊

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As I said I really enjoy being around horses and kids. That is why I am organising a day once a month where small children can ride the horses at our local ranch. It is fun to show them how to clean and treat a horse and in general how to act around them.
Because I am (becoming) an English teacher, my English skills are not bad.
I already did several internships at kindergartens primary schools in Germany. I have been in South Africa for one months, also for an internship at a primary school and I did a semester abroad in Ireland, Maynooth, St. Patricks Pontifical University.
Family and friends are very important to me and while I really enjoy some alone and quite time (I love books and podcasts), I also love to be around people and help them/learn from them.
Things I would be happy to get better at: English, gardening, horse work, (potentially everything)
