Hi, We are Alberto and Anna😊

A couple from Spain, originally from Madrid and Catalonia, and passionate about adventure and cultural exchange. We love exploring new places, learning from different cultures, and sharing our experiences along the way.

A few years ago, we began discussing our dream of traveling the world at our own pace, without rushing, and we have been working to make this dream a reality.

Anna runs a small kindergarten, where she leads a team of three teachers. Every two weeks, they meet to review their progress and share ideas. This project aims to give children the opportunity to thrive through play, curiosity, time in nature, exploration of their bodies and abilities, and the recognition and respect of their emotions—all while learning. Families are also involved, and we share many experiences together. Anna loves getting to know each child and discovering their passions! Just like Anna, Alberto also enjoys playing with and spending time with children, which adds even more joy to our journey.

Alberto works in IT. He recently left his job and is now pursuing further studies. When Alberto is not working with technology, we can find me enjoying a good book, watching movies, or listening to music—he believes stories, whether in books or films, have the power to connect us all. He also enjoy deep conversations, sharing laughs, and discovering hidden gems in every place I visit.

We are easy-going, open-minded, and friendly. Alberto has a great sense of humor, while Anna may be a bit shy at first but quickly becomes very cheerful. She loves nature, cooking, and working with her hands; recently, she has been helping renovate a house in Girona and tending the garden. Alberto is equally helpful and always strives to make life easier for others. He enjoys playing sports and keeping up with current events for the others.

We are very happy and enjoying our travels. We began our journey in December and have already visited Vietnam and Thailand. We are excited to start this Workaway journey, exchange experiences, and create great memories along the way! We love cultural exchanges as a way to learn more about the world, which is why we are eager to try our first Workaway experience. Anna was an au pair some years ago, so if you need references, we can gladly provide them.
