I am interested in volunteering with animals and in permaculture and would love to gain skills in DIY and experience off-grid living.

Beschreibung

Hi, my name is Dani. I'm 22 years old and from the UK. I love nature, animals, volunteering and making new friends. I also love acting, dancing and musical theatre and I've performed in several shows for 8 years. My favourite moments in life (so far) are performing on stage with my theatre family and meeting new people from around the world.

In the UK I achieved my Animal Management diploma. For my diploma I completed many hours of work experience at farm parks, a dog groomers and a veterinary surgeons as well as study and research an array of animal care subjects. I also helped manage the forests on campus by hedge trimming and creating dead hedges for the local wildlife.

At the start of 2023 I backpacked and volunteered in Ecuador and Peru for 6 months. In South America I learnt Spanish and absorbed as much culture as possible. I experienced adventure and explored the natural landscapes of the continent. I started my journey in Ecuador because of its amazing opportunities, the incredible biodiversity and it is somewhere I wanted to go to since I was very little. I started my volunteering at a Zoorefugio to kickstart my travels. Afterwards I volunteered at a language centre to teach English and I volunteered on a farm.

My next travel plans are to backpack and volunteer around Spain and Italy. I hope to improve my Spanish and Italian speaking skills and learn many new things. I am particularly interested in learning how to live off grid and be self sustainable and I am really excited to see where this new adventure takes me.

I am from a very big family with 5 siblings and many pets so I know what it's like to be surrounded by loving people and I'm looking forward to meeting so many families through my next experience.

I can't wait to see where I go next and who I will meet!

Was noch ...

I love reading fictional books and talking to people about books or any of my other interests. I love playing games, watching movies and I am a big talker so I love having a conversation about anything and everything. I'm quite shy with new people and new places but I adjust quickly and once I come out of my shell I'm really enthusiastic and outgoing.
