Hey, I'm Clara!

To start with, I’m an open-minded, organized, and curious person who values social connection, meaningful exchanges, open communication, as well as moments of calm to reflect and recharge.

I grew up in Munich, Germany, before moving with my family to Lausanne, Switzerland, where I learned French and completed high school.

Currently, I’m studying law with the goal of understanding how our society functions and using legal tools to contribute to a more sustainable and just future—particularly in addressing global warming and the political, economic, and societal challenges that come with it.

I have a broad range of interests, some of which evolve over time, while others remain constant:

• Physical activity is an essential part of my life. I enjoy running, dancing (salsa, bachata, hip-hop), climbing, hiking, and swimming. I played soccer for nearly ten years and recently started practicing Krav Maga.

• I’m interested in philosophy, spirituality, and meditation (Vipassana), as I try to cultivate a peaceful state of mind and a harmonious way of living.

• Creativity is also very important to me. I love taking time to draw, paint, play the ukulele, or simply read a good book.

• I value deep, meaningful relationships and appreciate how meeting new people—with their unique worldviews and life experiences—can inspire positive change and broaden perspectives.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm a very open minded, interested and social person and easily integrate in new social context.
I quickly learn new skills and consider myself as responsible, structured and focused.

From the age of 13 to 19 I occasionally worked as a baby sitter (4 to 7 years old), or tutor (14-17 years old).

In 2023 I spent two moths in Laos where I worked at the Belle Rive Hotel (Luang Prabang) in the restaurant and as a receptionist. It was a great experience since I learned a lot about service work and got insights in management in general, and more precisely in team coordination and cohesion.
Although, there sometimes was the language barrier (some of my coworkers didn't speak English)
the atmosphere there was very welcoming and I got to know Lao culture and the local way of living (mainly their great passion for soccer and social evening events) thanks to my very friendly Lao coworkers and the expats-community.

In summer 2024, I spend 3 weeks in Munich, where I worked as a volunteer for WECF, an international network of women's organisations striving for feminist sustainable development, gender equality, climate justice and women's rights.

Since January 2024, I've been working at SedLex, a swiss law firm, as a secretary (Student Job).

Was noch ...

I'm really interested in learning new skills, especially everything which is linked to nature, gardening, permaculture and other useful handy crafts. Since I'm living in a city, I hardly get to acquire these competences which, however, seem very important to me.
