Hi! To whoever is reading this, let me use this space to introduce myself.

A major change happened for me this year. I'm used to "modern" living - driven by corporations, big budgets, fast food and living alone. Cynicism, backstabbing and fragile male egos were a daily routine. But as of April this year I begun traveling and fell in love with a whole new way to live - one of meeting new people, finding inner piece and broadening my skills. I lived most of my adult life in Bulgaria (Eastern Europe) but now I'm looking to start a new life on the other side of Europe, starting in Germany and surrounding places.

So far I've very much enjoyed short stays and meeting a lot of new people. I find that I thrive best in large communities where a lot of work needs to be done, but I've also found much joy just doing more focused work with individuals, usually in someone's home. Currently I'm looking for either - short stays motivate travel and exploration, but longer stays provide opportunity to make a real difference somewhere. I'm open to most kinds of work: my core strengths lie in IT (programming, system administration, etc), but I enjoy learning new things (would love to learn gardening and arts), and I've also been told on many occasions that I'm good at bringing structure. I've also had excellent experiences working with kids and animals, though mostly short term so far.

I'm an unusual character compared to most people I meet in this lifestyle, and most travelers are already a bit weird! I have a very unique sense of humor (it can get dark an crude, but always respectful) and I have different goals in life than most. I'm extremely privacy conscious when it comes to technology and personal information but at the same time I've been successful at being emotionally open and transparent about the things I care about. I can be intensely paranoid at times but at the same time I've learned to be very calm even when everyone else around me is blowing up. I'm also early on a transgender path - learning to be more feminine, both on a visual and emotional level. At the same time, I'm comfortable with myself to the point of also embracing a nudist lifestyle (of course, only where appropriate and never without permission). In short, I can be weird, very weird at times, but I find that it helps me get along with people - because in the end, everyone's a bit weird and that's what makes us unique. I'm realistic and pragmatic, but I allow myself to dream, and others are always invited to join.

Currently I'm deciding between moving back to Germany or exploring Belgium/Netherlands/France. I'm open to most kinds of work, my main concerns are having clear goals and good access to the tools to make them happen. I'm also somewhat living on a budget, so arrangements that include food are much preferred. My one unique "requirement" is that I need to be able to continue doing my own, private work in my own hours - that means I need to have a comfortable work corner somewhere where no people or cameras can see my screen, where I can plug in and work for several hours.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My core technical skills lie in the IT sphere - I can do software (desktop, backend, frontend, etc), system administration, crypto, and so on. I'm also excellent at communication and handling conflict. Plus, several years of working in helpdesk means my "soft skills" are unmatched. I believe that I'm intelligent enough to learn anything new, so I'm looking forward to working with others on work that I haven't had opportunity to experience yet. :)
