Hi!
I’m Arthur. Until recently, I was living between two worlds: one as an environmental student in Brussels, the other as a traveler. The first was filled with restaurant jobs, cinema, biking, improv theater, craft beer, and various kinds of engagement. The second took me from Icelandic tundras to Guatemalan jungles.

Today, everything is changing. I’ve just finished my master’s degree and I’m leaving behind the sedentary urban lifestyle to fully commit to traveling, at least until January 2026. I’m setting off from Brussels, heading as far north as I can go on my own… hopefully all the way to Svalbard, maybe even Greenland and Iceland.

What’s this journey about? redefining long-distance mobility. After immersing myself in various travel worlds (volunteering, trekking, urban tourism…), I became overwhelmed by their social and ecological impacts. That’s when I chose a different path: traveling with less money, no planes, and much deeper, more nourishing interactions.

I’m also exploring how to reshape our approach to climate change adaptation, by learning from Indigenous communities who thrive in extreme environments. This idea was born from my travels and eventually became the topic of my master thesis. Now it’s time to shift from theory to practice!
