I am super passionate about activities and work in nature, such as on farms, with animals, and with plants and veggies. I am also a community and youth worker and love working with people!

Beschreibung

Hi! My name is Ange and I am a youth worker with a degree in psychology. I grew up in between farms and cities in Serbia and now live in Australia where I have experienced full-on city life. I would love to experience volunteering while travelling as I feel that tourism is often quite extractive and doesn't allow you to experience the complete beauty of the place you're visiting and of the communities that live there.

I have experience working with people as I have worked in childcare my entire life, and recently have been working in youth/community work. I also have experience with animals as I worked as a professional petsitter for 3 years. I worked with all sorts of animals, from dogs to snakes!

I have also been a volunteer for many different organisations. I have worked with migrants and refugees on community and youth projects, have worked one-on-one with families in need of financial and hands-on support, and have worked on natural conservation projects all over my city in Australia.

I have been travelling all my life ever since my family migrated to Australia. My trip for 2026 primarily focuses on exploring Italy since I have been learning the language since I was 16 and would love to be surrounded by the language and culture in order to solidify my knowledge in the language.

While I have lots of experience with children and young people, I would prefer to leave work at home while I travel and not take on any projects that involve childcare.
