Beschreibung

My life so far has included a lot of travelling, which brings me a great deal of happiness. I understand, however, that long periods of staying in one place can also bring me peace. Travelling has also led me to explore several languages—apart from Greek (my native language), this includes English, Portuguese, Italian, and Norwegian. Moreover, I greatly enjoy reading and discussing philosophy in communities, and rendering complex philosophical ideas into themes that can resonate with all human beings.

Another strong interest of mine is theatre—in particular, participatory and political theatre approaches like the Theatre of the Oppressed, though I enjoy theatre in general. For a long time, I have been a volunteer in an association for families and friends of people facing mental health challenges in Rethymno. With the group, we organize plays and performances to raise awareness about mental health.

Last but not least, I have a passion for everything related to natural ecosystems, and in particular, energy systems. As I am now finishing my PhD in environmental psychology, I am increasingly drawn to practical work with the land, and eager to learn more about alternative agricultural approaches such as permaculture.

As I have travelled to different countries, I have dabbled in Portuguese (living in Portugal for six months), Norwegian (living in Norway for a year), and studied Italian for a full year. I am fluent in Greek (my mother tongue) and English. I love both learning and teaching languages.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My main abilities revolve around community organizing and engagement, the facilitation of workshops, and the use of theatre-based approaches as learning methods. Over the past 15 years, I have also been deeply involved in academic research within the social sciences, with a background in psychology, sociology, and anthropology.

In recent years, my focus has increasingly shifted toward everything related to natural ecosystems. I am particularly interested in hands-on approaches to alternative agriculture, such as permaculture. Although this is a relatively new field for me, having only started engaging with it in the past year, I am eager to learn and develop my experience further.
