Beschreibung

Hello Everyone!

My name is Wolfgang-Alexander, and I was born in Germany. However, I am only one quarter German since I have Hungarian and Russian roots too. I graduated from high school in summer 2023. After that I decided to travel the world to experience life in different countries and to find one place to settle.
For me it is important to immerse myself in the culture of every country by meeting locals and listening to stories about their life. I also want to travel low budged by working most of the time. However, that also makes it possible to stay for a longer period at one place and live like a local and make new friends too. This is what I have been doing for the last 1.5 years and it has given me so much valuable experience and perspectives for life.
To briefly describe myself...I'm an empathetic and social person who likes to entertain others by doing group activities, playing games or just making jokes. I also enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, regardless the weather. In summer I like to go on big bike trips with tent and sleeping bag, I like swimming, hiking or just listening to the sounds of nature. In winter I love to go cross-country skiing as well as sometimes winter hiking.
However, I really like to be around with good people, in my free time and on work. I enjoy sharing stories or just laughing together and I like to give and receive social appreciation.
To put it in a nutshell; my personality consists of a strong connection to nature and a pronounced social side. I value the diversity offered by both, nature and social connections.
For now, workaway is the perfect platform to connect with like-minded people and to learn life lessons. I already feel like I learned so much more while traveling than I learned in 13 years of school!
I'm especially interested in working in a hostel, campground, farm, homestead, garden...areas in which I already have experience. So I always try to combine my love for outdoors with opportunities for meaningful social connections ;)
