Asuka is a very nice and lovely person. She is very kind and glad woman. She wants to take part any "work" which we want that she will make. She makes all things until the end, keeps the areas cleaned and keeps the timetable as we have suit together. She was really part of our family. We enjoyed to spend time with her. Everything was awesome ! Many hearts for you !!!

I spent an amazing 10 days at Maja's property in October. It was the most beautiful setting and provided me with some real time for reflection and peace. Maja's communication was brilliant and she very kindly picked me up and dropped me back at the train station. I had clear instructions for the work Maja asked of me, and we often ate lunch together which was lovely. The work was enjoyable and made better by the gorgeous setting! The accommodation was also very private and had everything I needed. You're not too close to anything but it was easy to walk down the hill to Camaiore. Thankyou so much Maja for giving me a glimpse into your world!

We stayed with Scott for three weeks and received a very warm welcome! We were responsible for looking after Scott's horses, Biscuit and Benji: feeding them, turning them out, cleaning their stalls, and taking care of Suzie, the cutest dog! We had a wonderful time together: lots of laughs, great conversations, and fantastic rides. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and we felt very comfortable. It was a truly enriching experience that we will cherish. Of our four Workaway hosts, it was the best. Thank you for everything! Florine and Ludivine

My partner and I only planned to stay at tamarind camp for 1 week but ended up staying 3 because it is such a great spot! Pj and jaja have created a really laid back and fun environment and we felt so lucky to have gotten to connect with anilao and it's community while there. The work was varied and as long as you stay flexible, go with the flow, and are creative with coming up with projects in between generally help, you will be just fine. The food thanks to anna and bibi was always delicous and it was great sharing meals together. They have kayaks and snorkeling equipment to use which felt like having a space ship and suit to explore the coast and underworld as much as you wanted! Pj was always having friends over and introducing us to some really awesome people who we will miss. We got our open water diving course from him as well and he was a patient and engaging instructor. I also appreciated his general love for exploration and prioritizing having fun over anything else! I definitely recommend this place anyone that wants a fun, off the beaten path experience with some great people. Thanks pj, jaja, Tasha, Lili, anna, bibi, and tan tan, for everything and hope to see you again on the flip side! Kaian pepe!

Helene and Johnny stayed with us for only a week but we felt an easy connection with them and thoroughly enjoyed their company. They showed initiative around the house being quick to help out with food prep or clean up tasks. They are adventurous and ecologically thoughtful souls, travelling as much overland as possible to get to Australia, admirable. Helene and Johnny were both keen to get stuck in to what ever tasks we had for the day, whether it be weeding, digging trenches for irrigation, building fences or picking veggies. They were both keen to learn new tasks and understand the systems and methods around our permaculture garden. Helene is a super quick learner, not scared to get her hands dirty & very capable, Johnny is thoughtful and steady in his approach ensuring care is taken in the work that he is doing, together they make an excellent team. We had great conversations with these thinking travellers and also enjoyed a day sailing with them, where once again they proved capable and enthusiastic to learn new things. We would highly recommend Helene and Johnny and would very happily host them again. :)

Louise volunteered with us and was a great help during her stay. She learned new tasks quickly and was always careful and attentive in her work. She has a good spirit, is curious, and showed genuine interest in what we were doing. Louise fitted in well with daily life, had a positive attitude, and was a pleasure to have around.

Rhena volunteered with us and was a pleasure to have around. She is friendly, smart, and curious, and showed genuine interest in nature and rewilding work. She approached tasks thoughtfully, learned quickly, and was engaged in understanding the land and the processes behind the work. Rhena integrated well into daily life, brought a positive and open attitude, and contributed reliably throughout her stay.

Francesca volunteered with us for 2.5 weeks and was a real pleasure to have around. She is very cheerful, curious, and brought a lovely positive energy to the project. She learned new tasks quickly and showed genuine interest in nature and rewilding work, from understanding the land to helping with hands-on outdoor tasks. She was always happy to help wherever needed and integrated easily into daily life. Francesca contributed not only through her work but also through her open, friendly attitude, and we can happily recommend her to any future host.

Noah is one of those rare gems in the new generation of humans. He stayed with us for 2 weeks and it was a real pleasure to work with Noah in the forest. He brings a big set of skills and a good work ethic. Super recomended!

I stayed 2 weeks with Rosie and her family. The work included picking cherries, gardening, collecting hay, all very manageable for 5 hrs a day. Rosie and her family were very welcoming and it was a pleasure to relax at such a place for a few weeks. The lunch provided daily was always very tasty and made with fresh veggies / fruits from the farm. I definitely recommend, a great experience overall!!

Absolutely delighted with Jazmin’s care and attention! She went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she take incredible care of our dogs, but she also made sure they were always happy, healthy, and entertained. She played with them, took them on walks, and truly treated them like her own. It was clear they were getting so much love and attention. Beyond the pups, Jazmin was an excellent house-sitter as well. She took great care of the house, keeping everything neat and tidy. On top of that, she was super handy and helped out with a few minor repairs that had been on our to-do list for ages. She’s thoughtful, reliable, and just a joy to have around. We can’t recommend Jazmin enough! She’s a true gem, and we’re so grateful for everything she did. Our dogs (and our house) were in the best hands with her.

It was a delight hosting Liberty. Her professional skill set, combined with maturity and workaway experience in various settings meant while I was busy at work Liberty tackled all jobs with ease and total competence. She was a great help in the garden, plus cleaning, cooking, and her Ace project management skills progressed jobs I just hadn't got around to. I definately felt we achieved a lot in the time she stayed. Liberty has a lovely gentle, caring and considerate personality. It was lovely to chat and share while we cooked or had numerous cups of tea. I was happy that Liberty felt comfy in our cosy home to relax and puruse her interests of reading and journaling and planning the next leg of her travels, as well as explore our local surrounds and beaches.

We stayed with Camilla and Bill for two weeks and they were such amazing and welcoming hosts. We loved our time at the Farm, all the animals were lovely and well cared for, and we loved having the responsibility and trust to be able to look after some of their animals also. The tasks that Cam and Bill set for used our individual strengths, and they also allowed for us to work on projects our own way, which was rewarding to then see them completed. Every evening was spent together eating dinner and sharing stories, a great way to wind down for the day and get to know each other. We're also hoping to carry on the tradition of best moment of the day. We'll miss the farm and all its animals, especially Penny. Thank you Cam and Bill for having us, and I wish our stay was longer!

Another great Workaway experience! Amelia is a wonderful, kind, polite and engaging person and it was an absolute pleasure to host her. Amelia stayed with me for a week and each task that was asked of her was executed without fuss and diligently completed. All those little jobs are now complete! Of course hosting a Workaway traveller is not all about the "jobs" there is the sharing of food, experiences and conversations and there was no shortage of time spent on all of these. Amelia is hoping to find some permanent work here in Tasmania and I wish her the best during her stay on our beautiful island and in her future travels. I would highly recommend Amelia to any and all hosts. :)

Our 10 days with Margaret and Marshall were truly wonderful and became very happy memories for us. In the mornings and evenings, we went for walks with Marshall, and our main tasks were cleaning the chalet, ironing, and doing the laundry. Even though our schedule changed due to our circumstances, Margaret was very flexible, and we really appreciate her kindness. During our stay, she also took us to the beach, and we were able to spend very fulfilling and enjoyable days. Thank you so much for everything

Janina stayed with us for around 4 months and was a great help with all the daily chores in the house. She is usually up very early and helps with feeding the little one before she goes to kindergarden. She also respects our privacy and leaves us lots of family time which we really appreciate. We thank her for the contribution and wish her all the best with her next destination

It was a great pleasure hosting Meike. She is a nice person who has no problem with any of the tasks at the farm. Meike has good ´feeling´ for the animals and things seem to go easy for her. No problems with communication as her English is exellent. We think Meike found a good balans between work and private time. All in all we can really recommend Meike as a volunteer at your place!

I had a wonderful stay with Monica and Kyle. They made me feel very welcome and included me in their family life. They were very generous with their time and often took me with them on trips to the beach and farmers' market. They know a lot about food forests and native vegetation in general. I learnt a lot from them. I helped with lots of weeding, mulching, transplanting some bananas, watering the plants and their chicken coop. They also gave me household tasks if I was open to it, which was better given the heatwave we were having. They are kind, patient and funny people to be around. They are also great cooks — the food was diverse and well seasoned, and I will surely miss their cooking! It was a pleasure to meet Kyle's parents when they were visiting. They also have an adorable one-year-old son. Hudson, their dog, was the best workmate/supervisor! I loved my tipi accommodation, I had the best and the outdoor bathroom area was really cool, too. There were even glowworms behind it! Thank you for everything, Monica and Kyle!

Petra and Russell are kind, open-hearted, and knowledgeable people. During my stay, I helped with things like gardening and DIY. They also kindly showed me around places like Oamaru and Dunedin. I was really happy to be able to experience things that I had never had the chance to do before. There were times when my language skills were not enough to communicate as well as I wanted, but even so, I’m very glad I was able to stay with them. Thank you so much, Petra, Russell, and all the wonderful people I met through you.
