Beschreibung
This Retreat and Community Centre is located at the edge of a medieval village in Southern Tuscany. This Centre is the cornerstone of an initiative to regenerate and revitalise the local village into a thriving Intentional Community. Our pilot project in Italy is a land-based academy and healing centre dedicated to ethically, environmentally and socially responsible living.

Kultureller Austausch und Lernmöglichkeiten
Our Volunteers are invited to join different cultural activities that are taking place regularly, such as:
• Monthly Community lunches
• Weekly sharing circles
• Invitation to meet the community
• Movie nights, pizza nights, jam sessions
• Many community members offer their own workshops using the venues in the off-season. Some are donation based, others free. Volunteers are offered special rates.
Our Volunteers are also warmly invited to share their own skills, for example guided meditations, yoga, dancing etc.

Volunteer roles depend on seasonal needs and your experience.
These may include:
* Landscaping & gardening
* Groundskeeping & physical labour
* Cleaning & housekeeping
* Maintenance & carpentry
* Retreat space preparation

Unterkunft
ACCOMMODATION:
You either stay on-site (during the colder months) or in the local village in shared housing, 15-20 minutes away (by foot).
-We have shared rooms for our volunteers, depending on availability.
-The bathrooms and kitchens are shared with the other housemates.
-Sheets and towels are provided
FOOD:
-We provides basic dry ingredients and a weekly stipend for purchasing fresh fruits and vegetabels of your choice.
-We have a no meat-policy. Therefore preparing meat is allowed in ones own accommodation or in the shared housing kitchen.
Snacks like fruit, cookies, herbal tea or coffee are available for the volunteers during working hours.
Once per week we have a shared vegetarian lunch together, prepared by our chef.

STAY LENGTH
4-6 weeks.
UPDATE (as of May 2026): We are also looking for people to help us specifically on the LAND in our lavender FARM with IMMEDIATE start - ideally for a period of at least 1 month, but negotiable.
We are currently welcoming applications for the following periods:
Pre-Season Preparation: April 1 – May 6 (5 weeks)
Early Season: May 6 – June 10 (5 weeks)
Break / ARC Period: June 10 – July 22 (6 weeks)
Peak Season: July 22 – August 26 (5 weeks)
Peak Season: August 26 – September 30 (5 weeks)
Season End: September 30 – November 11 (6 weeks)
EXPECTATIONS
We expect people working with us to be on time, be honest, keep the residences tidy, to clean-up after themselves, be committed to help and be of service, communicate directly, create harmony, and share and express their talents. And, above all, to agree to LOVE unconditionally.
THE VILLAGE
We live in a small village in the country side. There are beautiful walks that can be done around and there is a bus that is reaching other villages nearby. A local community member can provide taxi service (at a cost) upon request.
WHAT TO BRING

BENEFITS
Your invited to join the events and workshops organized by and for the community.
In your free time you are invited to explore and mingle with the community members. We encourage You to integrate into the larger community during their stay with us.

We have 4G internet connection in the main house/community centre. Nevertheless, we strongly reccommend you bring a 4G sim card for tethering with your computer.
