  Beschreibung

  We are a family of 5 living in central Portugal. We at the end of a small village surrounded by fields and forest.
  
  Thanks for our 3 kids our house and garden is very family friendly and baby safe. We have enough toys, books (in Czech, Russian and Portuguese), high chairs, potty etc.
  
  Our land is big enough offering many places to play freely and our village is small and safe with omnipresent "grandma police ".
  
  We also have a 10yo dog for which we need pet sitting. He is very friendly, used to kids. Generally just occupies our sofa or terrace and enjoys 2 walks a day.
  
  Our property is accessible by car/vans. We have a flat parking area suitable even for caravans.
  
  As there is no public transport in our rural area a car is a must.
  
  The village is located between the town Tábua and Oliveira do Hospital. There are all the supermarkets, hospital, pharmacies, gym etc.

  1h15 from the coast
  1h to Serra de Estrela
  15 to 20 min to beautiful river beaches and other villages and town (markets, events, fesrivals)
  
  We are looking for pet sitters for while we are away and people who can help us around the house (garden, some woodworking projecr, etc).

  We are looking for 2 types of Workawayers:
  1) petsitters who can take care of our dog while we are travelling
  2) Workawayers who are interested in spending time in Portugal, help us around the house (families with kids are very welcomed)

  Unterkunft

  We have a house with open space kitchen, dining area and living room (sofa bed for 2 adults or 3 kids), master bedroom with parents bed and one bunk bed, home office room with additional single bed and table for working on the computer. Our house has a front and back terrace, both very sunny and enjoyable. There is one bathroom. We have a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There are a few stair around the house so not 100% barrier free.
  
  If we are not away from home we can welcome Workawayers if they come with their own van/caravan in which they can sleep and/or are ok sleeping in a tent (comfortable during most of the year). We can offer a modern family size tent for up to 4 people. We also have a travel cot and high chair for families with little kids. Currently we are working on a little studio apartment, which should be ready this summer and can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 kids.

  Was noch ...

  During the winter months we use a wood burner to heat the house, so it’s important that guests are comfortable using it (we will explain how it works).
  
  Also please note that our household is non-toxic and therefore we'd kindly ask our guests to use only biodegradable, eco-friendly anf synthetic fragrance free soaps, shampoos, laundry products etc. To make things easy, we can provide everything or recommend options before your arrival. This helps protect our health, our greywater system, and the surrounding environment.
