Hello,
I live with my partner in the southwest of France, in Bordeaux, on a barge I acquired in 2012. It was used to transport oil on the Garonne River, and over the years, with the help of workawayers, I've transformed it into a pleasant living space.
I'm looking for a couple. I'm offering a room with a double bed. Meals will be provided.
Regarding the work to be done on this barge, it's mainly painting. But some welding skills might be welcome. This painting project is within everyone's reach.
My partner and I are retired and enjoy backpacking. When we're on the road, we regularly take advantage of the networking opportunities Workaway offers us.
In May, we'll just return from a five-month trip to Arabia.

Bonjour
Je vis avec mon compagnon dans le sud-ouest de la France à Bordeaux sur une péniche que j'ai acquise en 2012. Elle servait au transport de l'huile sur la Garonne et au fil des ans je l'ai transformée avec l'aide de workawayers en un lieu de vie agréable...
Je recherche un couple. Je propose une chambre avec un lit deux places. Les repas seront offerts.
Concernant le travail à faire à cette occasion sur cette péniche, il s'agit essentiellement de peinture. Mais un savoir-faire en soudure peut-être le bienvenu. Ce travail de peinture est à la portée de tout le monde.
Mon compagnon et moi-même sommes retraités et aimons voyager en sac à dos. Lorsque nous sommes sur la route, nous profitons régulièrement des opportunités de rencontres que nous offre Workaway.
En mai, nous rentrerons tout juste d'un voyage de 5 mois en Arabie.

Bordeaux is a city declared World Heritage by UNESCO. There are plenty of things to do !!!! It's a nice town where, business, meeting, discovery, entertainment, party, (wine) ...
The barge is moored near the down town (5 min with tramway).
Bordeaux est une ville classée au patrimoine mondiale de l'UNESCO. Il y a pleins de choses à faire !!!! C'est une jolie ville qui mélange, visite, rencontre, découverte, animation, fête, (vins)...
La péniche est amarrée a proximité du centre ville (5 min en tram).
