  We will provide accommodation in our lovely staff house in the village of Montriond where you would be living with other members of the team and would also receive an hourly wage for work completed.
  It is a brilliant opportunity to live in the most beautiful Alpine area where you can take advantage of a huge range of mountain sports such as vtt, trail running, hiking, paddle boarding, white water rafting, paragliding etc. Accommodation is normally prohibitively expensive as this is a popular tourist destination so this is a great opportunity to access all of the benefits in an affordable way. You can also be part of a successful hospitality business that really cares about it's employees and prides itself on working in a sustainable way.

  Arbeit

  We are currently looking for one reliable and detail oriented person (female only due to shared room) to join our team of dedicated housekeepers who do the changeovers in our self-catered chalets. The chalets are all luxury properties and we need our team to take pride in their work and be happy to maintain our high standards. We are looking for people who can commit to work from late June (or asap) to mid September.
  The job involves working 14 hours per weekend across a Saturday and Sunday to prepare the chalets for in-coming groups of guests and there are also occasional mid-week cleans as well for anyone keen to earn some additional income.
  During the summer months this leaves you plenty of time off to mountain bike, hike, swim, climb, raft, parapente – the list is endless and we will also provide accommodation in our spacious staff chalet which has a huge garden complete with bike storage and barbecue. This job would suit couples or sets of friends if you prefer to share a room with someone you know.
  
  Tasks include:
  • Stripping & re-making beds
  • Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, kitchen & all living areas
  • Tidying patios, terraces & garden areas including cleaning garden furniture, barbecues, watering plants and a little basic gardening.
  • Washing towels and sorting laundry for collection.
  • Keeping store cupboards well organised
  
  Skills & experience required
  • Recent cleaning or housekeeping experience (able to provide a reference) • Hospitality experience would be beneficial
  • Good level of spoken English
  • Driving license & own transport would be an advantage but is not essential
  • EU passport or Carte De Sejour is preferred.
  Employment dates for a summer contract are from the mid-June until mid September
  
  Package:
  In exchange for 14 hours work per week we are offering accommodation in a shared double/twin room in our lovely staff chalet in Montriond plus a weekly wage in line with SMIC (12.31 euros per hour gross). T
  his equates to a monthly net pay of about 590 euros if you work a total of 60 hours.
  
  You then have the option to take on other work outside of the weekend and if we have additional work available then we can offer it to you at an agreed hourly rate.

  The accommodation has good wifi and the bedrooms are spacious enough to include a desk to allow you to work in privacy. As the mandatory work is limited to the weekends it leaves plenty of time during the week to work on other projects.
