  We are a family of six living in the beautiful ocean town of Homer, Alaska. Our home is located on 4 wooded acres with views of Katchemak Bay. We traveled full time with our kids for 4 years before deciding to make Homer our home base, but we still travel several times per year. We’d love to give someone the opportunity to come enjoy Homer and all it has to offer while we are away, in exchange for watching over our animals and garden.

  Homer is a busy tourist town in the summer, and things to do are unlimited. Take a boat across the bay to camp and hike in the katchemak bay state park, go fishing for salmon and halibut, take a drive to see the hills completely covered in purple when the fireweed blooms, hunt for fossils and agates on the beach, bird watch, check out the awesome food scene, and so much more.

  Arbeit

  The following would need tended to while we are away:
  
  - Goldendoodle- she is a very sweet , well behaved dog. She gets very sad when we are away, which is a large part of us inviting someone to stay in our home, rather than hiring someone to come let her out.
  - Bunny - kept outdoors.
  - fish
  - 2 tree frogs (potentially)
  - high tunnel garden- this will have irrigation on a timer but will require someone to keep an eye on water supply, etc.

  Unterkunft

  We have a three bedroom home located nine miles outside of the town center. It is south facing with large windows that bring in lots of natural light and lets you see the view of the bay and mountains. The home has hot shower and bath, internet, oil heat, and a washer and dryer. There is a full kitchen, however you would need to provide your own food.
