  Would you like to take a gap year and explore different countries while immersing yourself in a new culture and language?
  
  We live in a beautiful village in the province of Lleida, surrounded by fruit fields and olive trees. The village has all essential services, as well as a bus stop and a train station, making it very easy to reach from Barcelona.
  We love travelling and meeting new people from different countries and cultures. The village is just 1.5 hours from Barcelona and the Pyrenees, 1 hour from the beach, and 20 minutes from the city of Lleida.
  
  Our family consists of my partner and me (32), but we also spend time with my parents (both in their mid-60s), my brothers (28 and 36), and my little cousin (11) and her parents (both in their mid-40s). In the summer, we often go to our countryside house, where we can relax in the garden, swim in the pool, or go for bike rides (we can lend you a bike).
  
  I am also a volunteer at a local language centre, where people come together to practise English in an informal and friendly environment. You are welcome to join me and interact with children, giving them the chance to communicate with a native English speaker through fun and engaging activities. It’s a great way to meet locals and share experiences.We are looking for a volunteer who can help us practice English in a natural, conversational way. We are not looking for formal lessons, just daily conversations to improve our language skills.
  
  In return, we offer accommodation, meals, and the opportunity to live in a beautiful area with lots to explore. We look forward to sharing our culture and learning about yours!
  
  It is a plus if you are a native English speaker (USA, CA, UK, AU, etc.).

  You can learn Catalan and Spanish. You can enjoy of Mediterranian recipes and typical dishes from Catalonia. In our area there are many traditional parties and festivals that you can join ( like Correfocs).

  Unterkunft

  We live in a house in the village and moreover we have a countryside house with swimming pool (summer). You have a room where there' s a king bed, and a wardrobe. You can use the computer and wifi as well. All meals are on us and we can show you typical dishes. And if you want you can use the kitchen.

  Lleida is nearby - an ancient city in Spain's northeastern Catalonia region. La Seu Vella, a Gothic-Romanesque cathedral in a ruined hilltop fortress, towers over the city. Below the hill stretches the long, pedestrianized Eix Comercial de Lleida, with shops set inside many of the old town's striking buildings. On a hill to the west, the 12th-century Castle of Gardeny complex explores the region's Templar history.
