Kia Ora, We would like you to enjoy your stay with us and in our beautiful city. Rotorua is a town set on its namesake lake on Aotearoa NZ’s North Island, renowned for its geothermal activity and Maori culture.
We are a family of five plus two friendly cats living in quiet leafy neighbourhood approx 5km from town centre. Frédéric (from Tahiti, French Polynésie) is self-employed as an outrigger boat builder. Justine is a teacher ece. We are a family made up of Fredo & Justine, our teenaged son and our two young nephews.

Rotorua, a town set on its namesake lake on New Zealand's North Island, is renowned for its geothermal activity and Maori culture. Our place is close (a short drive) tourist attractions and the cycleways and trails that Rotorua is famous for. There is a local bus stop (City Ride _Springfield Bus) at the end of the road, so transport is not an issue.We will interact with you as much or as little as you like. We are happy to help you and to answer any questions you may have.

There are only three weeks till Christmas and are looking for help to get our home and property ready for when our family come to stay in the holidays.
ALL YEAR _We are looking for a short-term stay volunteer to help (flexible to suit your activities: for 4 to 5 hours help a day - (NO HELP ON SATURDAY) with a variety of tasks on our property. For example, vegetable garden layout, planting, weeding, yard cleanup, painting, house work, painting, building and so on. We provide the food and accommodation in our home.
PREFERRED LENGTH OF STAY: One week. This may be extended.
MINIMUM STAY: 2-3 days minimum stay
Hours:
Between 4 - 5 hours (flexible to suit your activities). Saturdays off!
No help on Saturday. This a great opportunity to get out & about and explore beautiful Rotorua and the surrounding area. NB. I'm not home on Saturday, so you must provide your own meals on Saturday.

Your room: is furnished with two comfy single sized beds, with linen and towels supplied. It is a comfortable space with WIFI, microwave, toaster, fridge (out of order), jug, tea and coffee facilities. We live in the suburb of SPRINGFIELD. We also have a single room upstairs. Our place is close (a short drive) tourist attractions and the cycleways and trails that Rotorua is famous for.
