We are a fun, easy going family running a small hospitality business in the heart of Northumberland in the North of England (a very friendly part of the country!) but still only 5 minutes’ drive (30 mins walk) from the local town which has all amenities including supermarkets, shops, restaurants and much more.

We can provide a 1 bedroom self catered cottage for you while you are working with us.

We need help with cleaning and laundry for our guest house and several self catered holiday cottages. Here are some of the jobs that you would get involved with:

Cleaning
Ironing
Laundry
Bed making
Gardening
DIY, repairs and general maintenance (basis skills needed)
Dog care
Occasional Babysitting and creative play
Photography & computer skills would also be beneficial

You must be happy to work well with others and have a love for the countryside with a creative and adventurous spirit.

We are looking for a fun couple, NON-SMOKERS, positive, organised, keen on attention to detail, patient, hardworking and flexible as every day is different!!!

We request that you stay for a-least 6 months.

Hours will be anything from 10-25 hrs per week, but this is flexible dependant on B&B and cottage bookings. You will have plenty of time to travel the local area and further afield and we will happily advise on places to go!!!

Along with free accommodation and bills included we will pay £9 - £10 per hour.

Unterkunft
We can offer you a recently refurbished self-catered 1-bedroom cottage for the duration of your stay, this is located next door to our family home ensuing you have your own privacy and space to relax. The property comprises an open plan kitchen (you will be required to self-cater or try the local restaurants) / living room and double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Also benefitting from WIFI and a TV.

Hadrian’s Wall is on our doorstep so great for exploring and excellent walks. Newcastle upon Tyne is our main city with direct train links south to London and north to Scotland which is only 30 mins drive from us. The stunning and historic Lake District, Scotland and Yorkshire Dales are all within easy reach (90mins drive)
