We run a non-profit group at the fiesta that aims to promote the concept of the San Fermin fiesta. We are looking for people who are interesting in sampling the culture of the best fiesta in Spain. There is great opportunities to practise your language skills and mix with a diverse group of young people who will become life long friends. Basically if you join our party crew you will have the best time of your lives. This is a way of enjoying the fiesta without sleeping in a park or having to pay silly money for accommodation. A lot of our group have been coming back to the fiesta for years. We need some volunteers to help us with the fiesta in Pamplona in Spain it is the first two weeks in July we need volunteers for our ground crew during the fiesta in return for accommodation food and drink and a great time at the best party in the world. You will have time to enjoy yourself as well as being part of a great team. We get many people coming back year after year. Practical skills, and Spanish Skills very welcome. We are an amazing group which is called a Pena in Spain (like a club) and we are dedicated to having a great time at the best party in the world and promoting the fiesta and teaching people to run with the bulls. The ages of our group vary greatly and both girls and guys are welcome although we always try to keep a 50/50 balance. Some of the guys and girls in our group run with the bulls and have done for years. Laughter is our key factor in our group. We need flexibility and the ability to have fun and enjoy yourself. Boring, quiet people maybe should look elsewhere. But adventurous, spirited people, who grasp life and live for the moment are our type of people. The first few days we work hard and the same is true for the last 2 days, but the 10 days in the middle is quite a party time. We have got volunteers that have been coming back for over 10 years but we do like to get new blood every year.
A lot of the help involves organising parties but there are many other tasks, moving things around, making coffee, cooking breakfast for the staff i.e. us, helping load the shopping etc etc. The best analogy is if you were helping your family who are expecting lots of guests to come to stay for Christmas, except it is hot in Spain and the party lasts 10 days not just one day.

We are looking for volunteers for our Pamplona ground crew i.e. a bit of cooking and and other general tasks, a bit of filming and a bit of organising, for the two weeks of the fiesta in Pamplona Spain generally about 3rd July until the 17th July. Basically we are a Pena or club and we put on activities to promote the fiesta and we produce promotional videos about the bull run and also about the Camino, the pilgrimage route that passes through Pamplona, we also host parties etc. Our members come to the fiesta every year and we run the backshop activities. For example we organise the inflatable palm trees hand out the grass skirts etc and help consume all the sangria. A lot of the tasks are also about feeding ourselves, cooking the breakfasts and evening meals just for the volunteers etc. We also have to try to problem solve and fix things if they go wrong. We need help with the filming, thus this gives lots of opportunities for those interested in learning about filming. We organise a number of events during the fiesta and your role is to help people join in and enjoy the party. Our Pena has been part of the fiesta for years and we like to think of ourselves as all singing, all dancing great party guys. We like to play hard and work hard. The Padre who runs the show has been going to the fiesta for 40 years and run 196 times with the bulls, he has also published a book about the fiesta. Another non-profit activity, as only 5 people have bought the book, hence guess what all the staff get as a leaving present at the final big dinner??? Because we take volunteers, this means you do not need a work visa if you are from outside the EU. Any food we put together if just for our ground crew.

Volunteers will benefit as they will learn a number of hospitality skills, language skills and will benefit on a cultural level from involvement with an important historic fiesta.

Pamplona is the capital of northern Spain's Navarre province. It’s best known for the Running of the Bulls (Fiesta de San Fermín). During this legendary multi-day festival in July, bulls are led through the city streets by daredevil runners. Pamplona is also a major stop along the Camino de Santiago, a medieval-era pilgrimage route, and home to Gothic-style churches including fortresslike San Nicolás.
