  We are a married couple who have two properties in the beautiful subtropical area of Brisbane. We live on an island near Brisbane overlooking the water. We enjoy a relaxed lifestyle, the arts and social activities.

  Social activities where Workaways can join in the island activities such as clubs, music and art activities and social gatherings. Relaxed island lifestyle with swimming, kayaking and natural bush environment. We can share our musical knowledge and assist with English skills if needed. We are interested in different cultures and traditions.

  Unterkunft

  We have a guest room with a double bed and guest toilet/bathroom in a three bedroom, two level house with large garden. We can provide all meals with a cooked meal for dinner.

  Was noch ...

  We work from home and have a little dog. Island life is quiet at night so we generally retire around 10.30pm. Smoking is outside only. Transport to the island is by ferry and we travel regularly to the mainland so we could pick up Workaways from Brisbane and bring them to the ferry and vice-versa to return to Brisbane. There is also public transport to and from the ferry from Brisbane. We have electric bikes and a car for transport around the island. For your time off there is swimming, kayaking, fishing, cycling or walking and many island activities such as arts and music groups and social groups.
