  Hi! I live in downtown Taichung, Taiwan, just a short walk from the train station. It’s a super convenient location with easy access to local markets, parks, cafés, and public transport. Taichung may not be the most famous city in Taiwan, but it has a very local, relaxed vibe and is a great place to experience real Taiwanese daily life. You'll find friendly people, delicious food, and lots of hidden gems to explore.
  
  I’m looking for someone to stay at my place and take care of my two lovely female cats while I’m away. Their names are Poker and Sofia. Poker is very social, chatty, and curious - she loves to hang out in the hallway and “talk” to the neighbors. Sofia, on the other hand, is quiet and shy. She prefers to stay in the apartment and is a bit of a scaredy-cat, but she’s sweet and gentle once she feels safe.
  
  Both are indoor cats, healthy and low-maintenance, but they love human company and will appreciate your attention. If you’re looking for a calm, authentic stay in a local neighborhood with two quirky cats, feel free to reach out!

  Since I live in downtown Taichung, just a short walk from the Taichung train station, it’s easy to explore the city and beyond. Taichung is a laid-back city with a nice mix of urban convenience and local charm. If you enjoy biking, there are public YouBikes available everywhere - and the first 30 minutes are free! It’s a fun and easy way to explore the neighborhoods, parks, and markets nearby.
  
  There are also opportunities to connect with the local community. Every Thursday, there’s an English-speaking meetup event in the city where locals and expats gather for casual conversation. It’s a great way to meet people and make friends while you're here.
  
  If you arrive before I leave for my trip, I’d be happy to show you around and introduce you to some of my favorite spots - like local food stands, cafés, and markets. You’ll also get a sense of my lifestyle while looking after my home and cats: quiet, cozy, and simple. This is a great chance to experience local life in Taiwan, away from the typical tourist path, while having a peaceful base and two feline friends to keep you company.

  I have an automatic water fountain and food feeder at home, so the basic daily care for my cats is quite easy. However, I’m looking for someone who genuinely loves cats and is happy to spend time with them. You don’t have to be home all the time, but when you are, I’d appreciate it if you could give them some attention - play with them, pet them, and offer canned food or a few treats. They’re quite independent, and if they’re not in the mood, there’s no need to force them. But I’d like them to feel cared for and not lonely while I’m away.
  
  If you’re a remote worker, that would be ideal! You can work from home and they’ll quietly (or not so quietly, in Poker’s case!) be your companions throughout the day. I have stable Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, and a supermarket just around the corner. The neighborhood is safe and walkable, with lots of local spots to explore. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enjoy a slower pace of life in Taiwan while bonding with two quirky cats. If that sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you!

  You’ll have your own private room with a large bed that fits two people comfortably. There’s no air conditioning in the bedroom, but if it gets too warm, you’re welcome to sleep in the living room, where there’s a sofa bed and aircon. Just use whatever space feels most comfortable for you.
  
  The apartment is clean, secure, and cozy. You’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals. A supermarket is just around the corner, so grocery shopping is easy and convenient.
  
  In the living room, there’s a big TV with Netflix for you to enjoy during your downtime. If you're a remote worker, I also have a table where you can work comfortably during the day. Basic essentials like shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are available for you to use in the bathroom. I hope you'll feel relaxed and at home during your stay here!
