Beschreibung
We are looking for a group of 5 to 10 people to take part in a Spring Camp - Creating Conscious Community. This will be in October and November 2026 and we would like people to stay a minimum of two weeks. Accommodation will be in Tipi's and Yurts and the work will be getting the space ready for our Summer season. We will put up Tipi's, Yurts and tents and plant trees, make a garden, create a kitchen, some building work and other jobs for hosting community workshops. People who stay longer will have the opportunity to take part in a workshop and we will also co-create a workshop together. If this sounds like an opportunity you would like to be part of please message us and I will give you more details. We are a community, not a business and we love to share our space with like-minded people. Our place is a community project, not a business and Workawayers won't be helping with paying guests or maintenance of spaces used by paying guests.
A bit about your hosts: we have both travelled extensively and still do. Julia is an artist, homeopath, ecstatic dance teacher, Shamanic practitioner and runs a Holistic Education Centre (Kalikalos in Greece in the NZ winter). Chris is a professional yacht skipper, ex organic farm advisor, ex Greenpeace captain and founder of a rewilding charity in the UK. Both of us have done lots of personal development. We like to have a good level of communication with guests and appreciate spending time with people who are curious and engaged in their own self-development.
We have two properties. Our community land is 15 mins from our ecovillage and it has amazing views of the ocean and is close to some of the best beaches in the country, including Sandy Bay, which is a good surf beach, where you can hire surf boards and get lessons. Our tasks are varied so if you want more details ask when you book. -

We love having people to help us but sometimes we are very busy so we like people who can look after themselves and show initiative.
Chris is an activist, especially about climate change, human rights and sustainable development. Julia is more spiritually focused. We both try hard to make a positive difference in the world.
We live on the most gorgeous bit of coast in NZ and go to the beach daily. -
