Welcome to Our Community in Masaka!
Hi, my name is Phiona Luyinda , and I am the founder r Kerygma community foundation and director of the learning center. I am a nursing officer, and i have great joy to welcome you to our home—a place where kindness, learning, and support come together.
We are located in Masaka City, just a 2.5-hour drive from Entebbe Airport. If needed, we can arrange transportation for you. Rest assured, this is a safe and welcoming place, even for those visiting Uganda for the first time. Over the years, we have hosted people from all around the world, and we look forward to welcoming you, too!
About Our Community
We are a community dedicated to children—especially orphans and those from less privileged backgrounds. We run two schools and are committed to providing children with a worthy life, no matter their circumstances. Our mission is to from a complete being—spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially—ensuring their long-term well-being. We address not only their academic needs but also their social and emotional growth.
We believe that your presence here will bring a great positive impact, and you will truly feel at home. Our doors are always open, and we welcome you with open arms—your home away from home.

Unterkunft
Accommodation depends on our guest/guests choice, we have single rooms, double rooms, apartments, and a family house. we can have 15people all in self contained rooms with out sharing. 5people share the washrooms but not sleeping rooms in total we can have 20 people at once without sharing rooms, but sharing is also allowed. A packing space for seven (5) vehicles and also a space for back packing .

we have a beach 30 minutes drive and so good for swimming ,visiting nearby national park, ssese islands , Equator, communities/ villages , markets and visit around town.

The time at phiona is was wonderful. You don't get this warmth everywhere. She was like a 2nd mother to me. The children at school are so nice they are happy to come to school every day. The teaching was also a lot of fun, although I am not a teacher they let me do it.
