Beschreibung
Our horse clinic is situated in White Carpathians mountains, in a small village on the hill. We create a retirement home for old sport horses, for horses that need special care after injury or disease, for horses in recovery or reconvalescence . In our clinic we use alternative treatments methods like homeopathy, Bach flower essences.. Horses live in open stabling. We have 6 horses to look after, sheep, dog, cats.
We are a non profit organisation.
We have 6 years old boy. He is very active, curious and no limits boy. He wants to help and try everything.
And iam also dog trainer.
NEW PROJECT FOR SUMMER 2026:
We are building 1st. Sensory garden for dogs in Slovakia. We need help with cleaning the place, building sensory path, maze from straw and wood. -

You can visit beautiful places in nature all around us, old castle ruins and more.
And of course you can learn lot of things about horses, training horses with positive reinforcement or you can just BE with horses and animals. You can visit the highest peak Velka Javorina, or Haluzice gorge, or lake in the nearest city. -
Arbeit
Maximum 5 hours, 5 days a week
We need help in many ways throughout the year. General maintenance work, building fences, gardening, stable work, cleaning paddocks, painting stables, work around house and animals. Preparing wood for winter. And help with little son - playing outside.
Volunteer shoud be used to be responsible, standalone and like to help with animals specially with horses, and dogs. You do not need to be extra strong but fit and you need to enjoy working outside in all weathers. We prefer volunteers older than 20years old.
Volunteer do not need experiences with horses, you only need to be not afraid of horses and want to learn more about them. Also we are not riding school. I can show you and teach you some joga streching for horses, positive reinforcement training and lot of more about training animals. -

Unterkunft
In main house , one double bedroom, own bathroom and shared kitchen. House and volunteers room is clean, comfortable and heated in winter and full furnitured.
You make your own breakfast (we provide bread, marmalade, ham, eggs, milk, yogurt, tea, etc. etc.) :) We share lunch and dinner and we all cook in turns or a volunteer cooks as part as their 'job'. Time of lunch/dinner is on the agreement. We do the shopping for the meals. Personal expenses are on your own account. During the week, we can always give you a ride to the nearest village.
If volunteers wants, they can use their own tent and sleep in the garden. -

The region offer various activity: not far from us there are two good ski resorts,bike park, beautiful walking routes, cycling, swimming in lakes, close to us are beautiful castles and ruins: Beckov, Tematin, Čachtice
You can find here the highest peak Velka Javorina of the White Carpathians mountains. It is also nature reserve. And neverending green grass fields. -

My month in the Beata's place was great ! i learned lots of things especially with horses. She took time to show me natural treatments, how to take care of horses, how to train them with clicker, how to feed them. Moreover, i spent good time with Beata, the other volunters, horses (especialy Adis), dogs, and cats (especialy Bobko) ! =D
