  I have wandered around various parts of the world for 20 years and enjoy learning from other cultures.
  I am based north of Kaitaia, 4kms to 90 mile beach. Earth buildings, raised bed gardens and tree crops and wherever the dream may lead, - permaculture and biodynamic principles. Solar PV, and solar hot water. Olives, feijoas, bananas, cherimoyas, avocados, macadamias and hemp.
  
  2024 projects include building a new cottage using earth, bamboo and recycled materials. This has started and is designed to show people that wonderful shelter can be created for very little cost.
  
  Olive picking and pressing, general maintenance of house and gardens.
  Interested in local resilience and self sufficiency and working with others to create a better system going into a rather shaky future. Other interests include work with Far North Environment Centre,Transition Towns, MenzShed, Time Bank, alternative currencies, weekly tramping and sailing.
