Hi,
My husband and I are owner builders in one of the world’s best sustainable lifestyle villages in the south west of Western Australia, a beautiful region full of gorgeous swimming and surfing beaches, caves, wineries, bike tracks and bush walks.
We would appreciate help with building, and a willingness to be part of building a passive solar timber framed home in an organic community based environment. Experience in carpentry or painting would be very useful at this stage, but not totally necessary as there's plenty of things to do.
For a female Workawayer, there's the opportunity of also playing with our 4 year old grandson sometimes and perhaps too with his 6 year old brother, both at the ecovillage.
We are currently living in Margaret River just 8km away from the village where you would work. Your own car to have the freedom to go to and from the village is better for you, as there's so many wonderful places to discover and enjoy.
You would have your own bedroom, bathroom and toilet in Margaret River, with shared healthy meals in our comfortable home.
