  Hello, I'm Inés. Our family consists of my husband, our 11-year-old son Rodrigo, and our 4-year-old Weimaraner. We live in San Lorenzo del Escorial, a town of 20,000 inhabitants, nestled at the foot of a mountain 50 km from Madrid, and very well connected by bus and train. We love the outdoors, walking, cycling, theater, and music.
  
  Rodrigo is a very artistic boy, and he's fascinated by Legos and making any kind of crafts with his hands.
  
  My husband, Jose, leaves home very early, and I'm the one who takes Rodrigo to school (he starts at 8:45) and picks him up when he gets out at 4:20 pm. I usually work from home, although sometimes I go to the office in Madrid and occasionally travel for 2-3 days to a European city.
  
  In the afternoons, Rodrigo sometimes has activities, usually in our town, but his schedule isn't very busy.
  
  Currently, due to my workload, I need help taking Rodrigo to or from school. It would be either in the morning or picking him up in the afternoon. The journey would be by train, and from the station there's a bus that takes him to the school, which is 5 minutes away. We have help one day a week at home, so we don't expect the au pair to do housework beyond what's logical and reasonable, for example, emptying the dishwasher when it's clean, or putting away his utensils if he's eaten independently.
  
  We'd like the person who accompanies us to integrate into the family unit and for us to be able to spend time together at times like dinner, which is when we gather in the evening, although we also understand the importance of independence.

  Hola, soy Inés, nuestra familia está compuesta por mi marido, nuestro hijo de 11 años Rodrigo y nuestro perro de 4 años, un weimaraner de 4 años. Vivimos en un pueblo de 20,000 habitantes, en San Lorenzo del Escorial, a las faldas de una montaña a 50 km de Madrid, y muy bien conectado con autobuses y trenes. Nos encanta el aire libre, caminar, montar en bici, el teatro y la música.
  
  Rodrigo es un niño muy artista, y le fascinan los legos y hacer cualquier tipo de manualidad con sus manos.
  
  Jose, mi marido, marcha de casa muy temprano, y yo soy la que me encargo de llevar a Rodrigo al colegio (entra a las 8:45), y recogerlo cuando sale a las 16:20. Normalmente trabajo desde casa , aunque a veces voya la oficina en Madrid y ocasionalmente viajo 2- 3 días a alguna ciudad europea.
  
  Por la tarde hay dias que Rodrigo tiene algunas acxtividades, normalmente en nuestro pueblo, pero no tiene una agenda muy cargada.
  
  Actualmente por la carga de trabajo necesito ayuda para llevar o traer a Rodrigo del colegio. Sería o bien por la mañana, o recogerle por la tarde, el viaje seria en tren, y en la estacion hay un bus que lo deja en el colegio, que esta a 5 min.En csa tenemos ayuda 1 dia en semana por lo que no tenemos espectativas de que la/ el aupair realice tareas domesticas de limpieza, mas alla de lo logico y razonable, por ejemplo, quitar un lavaplatos cuando este limpio, o recoger sus utensilios de cocina si ha comido de manera independiente.
  
  Nos gustaría que la persona que nos acompañe se integre en la unidad familiar y podamos coincidir en espacios como la cena, que es cuando nos reunimos por la noche, aunque entendemos tambien la independencia.

  We live in a historic building from 1910 that we renovated about four years ago. It's a duplex apartment of approximately 120 square meters, with plenty of natural light and fantastic views.   Vivimos en un edificio historico de 1910 que rehabilitamos hace unos 4 años, es un duplex, de unos 120 m2 con mucha luz y buenísimas vistas. La habitacion disponible tiene una ventana alta, redonda, y esta situada, como el resto de dormitorios en la planta superior. Aunque no esta dentro de la habitación, hay un baño disponible para uso exclusivo de la/ el aupair
