  Hi there, I live on the bank of the Waitaki river, a large fishing river flowing from Mt Cook, and the downstream Lakes. I am going away to work for 3 months, and I need someone to stay in my spare cottage and look after my gentle old dog. The location is 5 minutes from Kurow and 1 hour from Oamaru. You will be out in the countryside, and will need your own car. The cottage has gas cooking and gas hot water, and I will pay $50 of the electricity bill per week. Plus provide food for the dog. This would suit a couple or very small family. Please feel free to ask any questions, thanks Eve

  You will be close to nature here, beside the river, just hills and mountains around you. The town of Kurow, is small rural and friendly. There may be farm work or vineyard work in the area, but I cannot be sure.

  Pet sitting, a walk a day ,doesn't need to be too long as she can come and go as she pleases.
  There is a ride on mower, but the grass won't grow much as it is winter.
